How about the generic words "Band Name" for a band name. Afterall, my favorite BBQ joint is called "No Name BBQ"

Nice article and picture here: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... 00485.html

(too long to post)

Seems as if no one is back from the original except the producers (on purpose), so SMFP gets a pass ...

This is absurd. I mean, the original was this really great big never-been-done special deal, with the biggest names of the time - probably one of the biggest pop culture events of the decade, and they've just pissed right on it. I mean... Snoop Dogg? REALLY?

Well think about it though BJG....The first go around was chock full of Hall of Fame musicians and literally living legends. However, they were people we grew up listening to. I can understand getting or wanting fresh blood in there for our kids sake, as kids nowadays don't want to hear Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles MJ or Bruce. They are old fogies in the eyes of teens and youth. So I get the fact they want these no talent hacks in there and as far as that thug-douche Snoop a Loop, well, he is relevant as much as that pains me to say. I see your disdain and your point and agree they should have written a completely different song if they were going to usher in a new group for a world wide cause/statement. And also, why bring back some of the first time people and not all? If you are going to be fresh, do it completely.
