Went to Japan.

Nope!
Steve only toured the US and Puerto Rico.

He did however film some interviews during the rehearsals for the FTLOSM Tour, which where shown on Japanese TV.

morning,

Have had planetRock on all morning... GREAT music today. No mention of the interview yet.

and as I said no mention of interview.... the DJ that is on now just mentions when Nicky gets on board that the Steve Perry interview should happen... funny quirk about Perry being chained to an office desk or something like that...too funny!! haha...

So what's your problem? Just switch off your cellphone, disappear somewhere and tell everyone you had scheduled the meeting for two days later.

I just tuned in to figure out the time thing...and, one of my very fave songs was playing, "Brothers in Arms" by Dire Straits! :) I first heard that song a few years ago while watching an episode of West Wing and I was so drawn to the music they were using for a scene...strange, in a way it has always reminded me of the whole SP/Journey band break-up.
Anyway, the DJs were just now talking about SP interviewing & saying, 'maybe, possibly...we live in hope." lol. Yes, we do.

OMG...I have a whole new respect for the guys at Planet Rock...I never thought I am going to hear "Eruption" on the radio. No one plays that, they just go straight to "You Really Got Me".

Now back to living in hope.

Planet Rock almost closed down a couple of years ago.
Brian May was interested in buying it at one point and then some millionaire businessman beat him to it.
It's the only radio station dedicated to rock music in the UK.

I bet they are really pleased you are all tuning in from all over the globe.

I've only ever listened to the station during the afternoons. And a lot of the music I heard was on the heavy side.
Nicky's show used to be on at 9pm, so I never caught his show.
I too have enjoyed listening to him since Monday night.

He plays some really nice stuff.
