I wasn't making fun of Susie's post. I was agreeing with her.

Like I said, Biggest Disappointment in Rock n Roll.

I need to remember what forum I'm in here.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Right so let me get this straight,

Bry thinks I am the biggest disappointment in rock n roll and won't wait for me any longer,

and MG thinks she is in the sarky forum???

God it gets confusing around here.

:P

Look, Steve Perry just spoke to me and only me personally on my radio for the first time in my life and I liked it.

Oh and Barnsley4 was listening in.

I got the feeling that SP and Nicky Horne got on rather well, and a further interview sometime in the future was suggested by Nicky and Steve agreed.

I'm sure Nicky Horne will follow up that lead.

WHAT WAS THERE TO LOVE? Seriously?
It's like when Paul McCartney (who is freakin God to me) pulls out the same old story about how he dreamt "Yesterday". BORING. NOTHING THE FANS HAVEN'T HEARD BEFORE.

Come on, tell us something NEW. Tell us you're plans. Don't just say the stuff that you've already thrown out there a bazillion times.

To have a gift like that and not use it is a crime. No wonder the band gave up on him.

He said he was toast. I no longer believe for a minute that he has new material getting ready to be released. You'd think if he did he would be pimping it. Remember how big of a rush the idea of getting on the Radio gave Steve, or hearing his fans cheer for him?

Well, I've never heard before how he played with the record player at age eight practicing to become a DJ. And I've never heard before how if he doesn't give himself time to be stupid, he'll kill a song before it gets going.

You are very true about it being crime to not use ihis gift, but everyone has emotional baggage at some point in their life and everyone deals with it differently. Who are you to judge how HE deals with life's baggage? Just sayin :?

"I never thought that not being on stage would be such a vacancy in my chest.

I have just been quiet........

The immediate response of the audience as approval or disapproval, I never realized how important it is to me.

I am admitting to you live right now that I miss"

He's been saying this for so many years, nothing new, and the demo thing is shocking after all the supposed "in the know" people were saying new album, 2009, 2010. I will follow common sense from now on. If Perry were truly putting out something, it wouldn't be a secret. He needs the publicity for sales. I will wait for an official announcement, if there ever is one, which seems unlikely, but possible.

For someone who always, all these years, talks wistfully about how much he misses performing, it's kind of sad to me that there's something holding him back from doing something that gives him joy.

I think SP has had alot of sadness in his life and I don't think he's past it all yet. I just really hope he can find it in himself to kick out one more cd while he's still on this earth. Man he sure has given me a collection of music no one can ever take away.

True annnnnddd I'd like to add that the people who seem to be the most disappointed are the ones who claim not to be

waiting and they don't believe anyway....so what's up with that?!?!? :?

Who am I? I'm the guy that bought all his albums. I ain't telling him what to do. I'm telling him I'm done with him because he's not someone that is producing anything. He's not worth the time these days. Used to be. No longer is.

Keep in mind, the interviewers are coming to him to talk about the DSB phenomenon. I doubt if he's knocking on doors begging to discuss it. That's why you're not reading/hearing anything about any new release...if/when he's ready to talk about future plans, he'll do the reaching out for an interview on that topic.
