Morty is fastening a jacket as he enters.

MORTY: Alright, are you ready to eat?

HELEN: (glancing at her watch) Oh, right, let's go. Jerry, let's go, it's time
to eat. We're going to dinner.

Jerry wanders into the room. He's in a t-shirt and sweatpants, and holding a
comic book he's been reading.

JERRY: (confused) Dinner? W..What time is it?

HELEN: (pulling on a coat) It's four-thirty.

JERRY: (bewildered) Four-thirty? Who eats dinner at four-thirty?

MORTY: By the time we sit down, it'll be quarter to five.

JERRY: I don't understand why we have to eat now.

HELEN: We gotta catch the early-bird. It's only between four-thirty and six.

MORTY: Yeah. They give you a tenderloin, a salad and a baked potato, for
four-ninety-five. You know what that cost you after six?

JERRY: Can't we eat at a decent hour? I'll treat, okay?

HELEN: You're not buying us dinner.

JERRY: (emphatic) I'm not force-feeding myself a steak at four-thirty to save a
coupla bucks, I'll tell you that!

HELEN: Alright, (sitting on the couch) we'll wait. (pointedly) But it's unheard
of.

Jerry shakes his head, incredulous, and wanders away with his comic book.

Same here! Sometimes I'll be on a roll explaining something and I'll have a mental block that completely fucks me up. I have no patience for that and get angry haha.

There's a lot of things that annoy me.

1. When people interrupt me. (Big disrespect to cut me off, I let it known.)
2. When someone isn't listening.
3. When people talk louder over someone when they are speaking.
4. When my jeans/sweatpants go underneath my shoe, or in the crevasse.
5. Hysterical drunk people, mostly a woman's high pitched giggle.
6. My wall phone's high pitched ringer.
7. Dramatic people that makes small things into a scene.
8. When my hair curls into my eyes.
9. When I need to let my dog out 40 times a day. (The bastard actually wants in right now, starring in the door.)
10. Confrontations.

My favorite way to get my friends in "snail mail" days, was to put confetti in their card. They would open it up and it would explode into a mess. Did it to my husband a few times when we were dating. He would laugh at first, then get irritated because he had to go get his vacuum cleaner. (He lived in Ventura, CA while I lived here in AR.) He would fly out, stay in a hotel so he could date me. Now that is love.

No, but they used to call me right afterwards and give me the Mock Disgusted Rant, then laugh their butts off. I also can write backwards. You can read it perfectly in a mirror. So I would write backwards on one line, forwards on the other, backwards.........etc.

My best friend used to have to get a mirror, flip the letter, read it normal, flip the letter. She sent me a letter with nasty crap smeared on it, it was hysterical. I still have that moldy letter. She would put the ketchup or mustard from the sandwich she ate on it, after telling me she ate, and put cotton and ketchup and said.........well you get the gist. I never laughed so hard in my life. We were always trying to out crazy the other ones letter. I also would write to her in crayon, and ask for a sharp metal file to be sent via a cake.

My favorite is - 6 of one, half dozen of the other, picture being pronounced pitcher, George Worshington instead of George Wash -ington. Are you done? I used to say this until my then teenage daughter would say" Are you 185 degrees" and that was 20 yrs ago. I still say are you finished to this day.
