Okay, Jana, I'm in the middle of the show & to answer your question,..... I think he's straight. I'm not sure how many more episodes I'll be willing to watch, though. This in not really my forte. Most of the women seem.... well, catty. Plus, they just met this guy & a lot of them are already talking "marriage." Why do some women do that? Oh, & about Michelle---- YOWZA!!! She reminds me of my ex. I'm glad he got rid of her. First date & she was talking "kids" & "marriage" & criticizing his kissing, saying...."Are you kidding me? You gotta gimme more than that." That was so not cool! She was way too needy & psycho. She had to go. What's up with Vienna, I wonder? Why do all the other ladies dislike her?

Well, you missed the date she had with him last week. No kissing and coming on to him trying to make him beg. She is really beautiful but comes across phony. You have to understand, two-thirds of this show is cringe-inducing with the women. That's the fun of it. :lol:

The 4 hours or so I spent watching this with my ex-girlfriend are 4 hours of my life that aren't even worth as much as the first 4 hours I spend buried in the ground after I'm dead.

Matt, I concur. What is the attraction of these kinds of shows to the masses? I watched part of the first season with my wife til I couldn't take it anymore. No More! Of course, I hate reality TV shows in general.

I hate reality shows with a passion as well. Thus, I haven't really seen many of them. But, of the ones I've seen, this show is TERRIBLE in so many ways.

Watched a couple of the shows, I like Jake, seems like a real sweetheart.....who I still think Jillian should have picked. :twisted:

I hope he picks Jessie, the quiet little Canadian brunette.

And will probably try to catch bits of the show here and there, but now that 24 has started up (with its 4 hour/2 night season premiere).......well, Jake or Jack Bauer? Sorry, no contest.............24 FTW!

I can't watch this show. I'd rather watch paint dry. I used to watch it, the first few seasons. I couldn't take it anymore with these whiny bitchy catty stupid women, running around yelling they're in love with the guy after knowing him all of five minutes :roll:

and trying to take each others' heads off over it. These are not women who have any kind of self-respect. They play into every single bad stereotype about women (catty, bitchy, all out for money, etc).

The one that left in the limo (whose name I don't remember) had too many issues. She whined & whimpered too much so I'm glad she left.

Tenley is sweet & beautiful & all that but she talks WAY too much about the ex-husband. Then her parents had to "warn" Jake about how much the ex husband hurt her & how it's something that's gonna stay with her a while & how it's gonna take her a while to fully commit to someone new.... blah, blah, blah. That may as well be true but that's NOT what this dude wants to hear. He hears that & he's hearing "baggage." I don't expect Jake to pick her for that reason.

Vienna to me is borderline psycho. She acts like he's already hers. Then--- she followed him & Gia on their date last week. What was up with that?!?! Vienna's own parents said she's had problems with other woman all her life just like she's having problems with the women in the Bachelor house. That's a big red flag to me. What is up with a woman who all other women seem to collectively have a problem with? Vienna seems too unstable & a bit obsessive. Plus, her dad in the garage..... EEEEK! It was almost as if he was threatening Jake. His fatherly speech had this whole, "Hurt my daughter & I'mma bust your face" tone to it.

I pick Gia through process of elimination. She's sweet, pretty & emotionally stable as far as I can see. I missed his hometown date with Gia & so I can't really comment on how that went.
