45 degrees and dropping in my house...they claim my power will be on by 11:00pm, of course they said the same thing last night.

I have all my faucets running slowly to prevent my lines from freezing, but I can't do that with my baseboard hot water heat.

Those pipes are goners I am thinking.

Well the nice thing is that it will get my boiler replaced since it is going to freeze too.

Now I hear we could get 6 or more inches, Tuesday into Wednesday...and yet ANOTHER storm this weekend.

It's a never ending fucking nightmare...

Man that's just not right. Reports are now that "Maybe an inch or 2 on Tuesday" could turn to 6-8 inches! What the HELL is going on here?! Hope things work out for you, dude.

Thanks dude. Yeah...andother 6" to 8"...joy...can't find a single generator anywhere. Not one. No rentals...Lowes and Home Depot are out too...all hotels booked...my relatives around me are all without power too.

40 degrees and falling...INSIDE...it actually feels warmer outside in the sun right now.

Hang in there bro !! Hope they get your power back on soon! If not , pack the fam and come on over to Ohio :)

Don't temp me...as long as the food is halal... ;)

And thank you all for the kind offers.

Renting one, Lowes and Home Depot were out. I am picking it up tomorrow morning. Still 40 degrees in here...the hot water heater is actually helping keep my pipes from freezing.

You are right Pittsburgh is a GREAT place to live, but every 15 or so years you gotta deal with storms like this. The big issue is that Allegheny Power has thier heads up the asses, yes I know a lot of damage was done, but for fucks sake, 500 yards from me there is power, on the same main line, and there are no trees on the lines. It just makes me scratch my head.

We will be good to go tomorrow. :) Just in time for the next round of 6-10 inches of new snow.

Glad I had that new roof put on last year!

Here are some pictures in a slide show from one of the local TV stations...amazing pictures really...

No on the power...

And Beshad may be an islamofacist...but he is OUR islamofacist!

I kid Beshad, but he knows how much I respect him. His family is on the right side of things. They fled Iran when the nut jobs took over.

He is 100% a great person and he knows I feel that way about him.

Damn, I can't believe it'! I lived up there for my first 22 years of life and don't remember one time losing power for that long in the winter  I hope you get it back soon. I can't imagine it, especially with kids!
