apparently NightBull and JasonD prefer to munch on footlongs from their cousins, rather than a Subway shop like you and I

Hey, thenightbull, what gives? First it was "Burger King or McDonalds?" Then it was "Coke or Pepsi?" Then it was "Denny's or IHOP?" Now you're giving us "Cousins or Subway?" What's the dealio, bro? Looks to me like you need a good woman to fix you a nice hot, home cooked meal.

Oh, Babyblue....... come out, come out, wherever you are. Your man is getting hungry.

Subway is awful. It gets worse every time I eat there. Their quality has gone down the shitter in recent years.

Quiznos isn't bad, I don't mind that. Definitely much fresher ingredients.

Penn Station is a moderately-sized chain that does East Coast-style subs, all warm. Definitely not "healthy" like Subway and Quiznos can be, but they are DAMN good. All warm subs, all fresh ingredients, made totally to order, etc. etc. I haven't been there in like a year, maybe that's what's for dinner tonight.

According to the Cousins website, they only have locations in Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, and North Dakota. I went to Michigan this October for a wedding, but was barely there 24 hours.

I think only someone from Wisconsin would be familiar with Cousins, since there are 127 listed in that state, but only 19 in the rest of the country (Arizona - 8, Illinois - 3, Michigan - 2, Minnesota - 5, North Dakota - 1).

Throw in Jersey Mike's (http://www.jerseymikes.com/) and we're talking.

I wasn't that impressed, (not bad, but not stellar) but you know - it might have been the california food thing.
i might have to try it somewhere that is not california.

Cousin's ROCKS the house though, and blows Subway straight to hell.

I've never heard of "Cousin's". Is it a local mom-and-pop shop in your town?

I'm going with Quiznos.

Okay, now onto burgers....

McDonald's or Uncle Ted's?
