What is becoming of this once great and proud nation? Can we really be producing people who actually believe that we "had 9/11 coming" to us? As if there is any way that atrocious day can be justified on any level?!!!

I love how Lynn Cheney was talking last night before introducing her father Dick, that incompetence led to the Christmas day bomber..yet conveniently forgot the 9/11 happened on her daddy's watch...Not to set the facts straight or anything, bit come on already. I will say that the training for all this started about 1993 2001 after the first Trade Center bombing thats when the planning started so DEANO... EVERYONE DROPPED the ball...no one talked to each other CIA FBI IN BOTH CLINTON AND BUSH-- thats just me... USS COLE all the embassy bombings around the world were a test to see how much we could tolerate... and WE TOLERATED A LOT... the WORST finally came to US and then we said the hell with it and our still fighting today... Clinton could have delayed things if he treated national security with more reverence... but he didnt... and Bush just took the lead from Clinton until that faithul day... JUST SAYING...

Even if as you suggest, Clinton wouldve DELAYED things, that doesnt mean it wouldve made things any better,,, I dont see how a terrorist attack from 9/11/01 wouldve been any less harmful had it taken place , lets say 05/20/05 ......
