The difference is that Rolie quit and found a replacement for them to move on with. Gregg wanted to see the band continue their journey ... Nostrildamus didn't. Where as Gregg did what was best for the band to move on, Nostrildamus did everything to thwart them from moving on. Long layoffs, playing Journey music with other people (and yet singing about being "brothers till the end" ), coming back to record and tour, but not doing so, and lawyering himself into getting paid while not touring. That's the difference.
