Speaking thereof, check this out. All this talk of emotional vocal performances, this has to be right up there at the top. Marc Anthony singing a song to his daughter at a show in NYC about 10 years ago. There is a danger in injecting too much emotion into a song, and how he managed to finish it is amazing--much less agree to release it on a dvd.

Here is an example of vocals I enjoy the delivery on too. His vocals might be too earthy/raspy for some, but I just love his tone (lol as ya can tell by my love of that type of vocal tone, i.e., EM) and really like his delivery on this one......ya, even the goofy looking theatrics near the end.
I just love a singer that gets right into it and feels what he's singing.......I totally dig that, especially the chorus on this one. I'm finding the older I get the less I enjoy higher range vocals as much, I like my vocals to have some texture to them, resonance/tone or whatever you want to call it. That type of tone just seems to come across more raw/emotion IMO.

What makes it even more so is he's 62 years old! And on the keys? - still one of the best. OT - working on the Loverboy recording from the Olympics right now, also a stellar performance from Mike Reno. He sounds great!
