Really, Night Ranger shut you down? That stinks. I did see them in Crestwood, IL at a fest a few years ago, and one of the workers on the village board said they got $30K for their 1.5 hour show. Get this one...the guy told me the year before REO Speedwagon got $75K for their 1.5 hours!!!!! No wonder so many of those bands tour the US in the Summer!!!!!! That's not a bad way to earn a living at all.

Oh I did it legitimately...I did 54 push ups, 71 sit ups and ran the two miles in 12:15. I was good to go. Just saying, the military is also fucked up, like the rest of American society.

We used to do the runs. I guess they got tired of guys lighting up before they even got off the track. They switched everything to a cardiac test where you only pass if your vitals are in a certain range.

A few years back Don did insist on Dokken headlining a gig that also included Warrant and Enuff Z'Nuff I believe. It was a bad decision, because Dokken ended up going on so late much of the crowd had already left. One night, Warrant's set ran long and Don literally ran up onstage and grabbed the mic away from Jani Lane and started b**ching him out in front of the crowd.

And Mr Big can't, believe me, I asked that one a looooong time ago. It sounds like the guys (Mr Big) are off finishing up their solo commitments first, then back full force. As per EM email........

In regards to the questions about the future of Mr. Big; yes we are coming back. We all have solo obligations that need to be fulfilled so we are handling them now and will be back in full force late this year and into 2011.

Stay tuned for a couple of new releases from yours truly later this year.

Queensryche?!?! That would kick some serious ass! They are one of the best live bands I have ever seen. Great White would be cool, too. I don't know if they'd open for Winger, though, having been around a lot longer. I saw Mr. Big in college for $5 and a can of food. It was a great show and loud as hell. Perhaps The Darkness? They rocked live when I saw them as well, and I read they are getting back together. Who else is left? Kix? Steelheart? Slaughter? Skid Row?

Hey dont' be knockin' Quiet Riot too hard..............two extremely talented musicians came out of QR. Randy Rhoad's and Rudy Sarzo (one of my all-time favorite bassists). Rudy's book (Off The Rails) on his friendship with Randy and the Blizzard of Oz tour was a great read.
