wish this stuff was in English.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

It was practically a rehash. Was initially bent on translating the material at length...did promptly tackle the initial lines in a jiffy while catching the real-time broadcast:

On his hometown debut as Journey's lead vocalist, Arnel was ardently embraced by over 25,000 countrymen...They say it's uncanny that at 40+ he still got noticed, let alone abroad...

Was then like...oops, stale bits...

Are you really slobbering in anticipation for the chance to view a three year old story that's been told ad nauseam for the last 36 months about a former drug addict who went from collecting bottles to being the most recent vocalist for an 80s band living off of 30 year old songs? Go watch fucking Ponyo, the story is waaaay more entertaining.

I want to see it, b/c at least they will be showing the band on the road and some behind the scenes footage of the concerts. And it will be fascinating to see how Arnel was reacting off the stage to his newfound fame and traveling with Journey.

No, not for those reasons. I just want to see him touring with the band.

Too bad they have such a revisionist history also.
