I didn't realize until tonight that they made a video for their last album. Thanks! Looks like he's a Raider's fan, and your boy Obama's in it too, along with Osama! :)

Cool! Here is one along those lines from Dying For The World. Great song written as a tribute to 9/11. I love this song:

Hallowed Ground
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaW936IDSZw

KILLER song from the same album - written to basically say death was coming for Osama and his cronies:

Shadow Man
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuOD6GEGLiw

This is the song that got me hooked on W.A.S.P. -- a tune from the Inside The Electric Circus album.

Restless Gypsy

I don't understand why Eclipse canceled. it's not like Jeff was gonna perform with then. Sure they shared one member with WET , but I doubt it if it would cost Drewsky MORE to have Eclipse playing , if WET isn't playing.

It is with great regret that I must announce that W.E.T. have today cancelled their appearance at MelodicRock Fest 2 in Chicago, on Saturday May 2.

It is a source of great frustration for me personally to announce this, but also for the rest of the guys, as I know they were looking forward to coming together to perform for the first time - which was to be their only live date in 2010.
The reason behind the cancellation is that vocalist Jeff Scott Soto is held on retainer for Trans-Siberian Orchestra to perform in their nationwide Spring tour of North America and the dates clash. Jeff was originally not scheduled to be part of the group's upcoming Spring dates, but a change of plans now requires to join the group for a prominent role in the tour - rehearsals for which started this week in New York.
This clash has also meant that Jeff has had to cancel appearances in Europe and America, including the May 1 appearance with Spike Edney in North Carolina.

This cancellation also means that Eclipse – whose members are a major component of W.E.T. - will no longer be performing. It became apparent that it was not going to be economically viable to fly the guys in for just one short set on the Saturday.
Jeff, Erik and Robert regret this announcement, it is unavoidable and they wish to apologise to any fans looking forward to their appearance. I am going to personally work with the guys to find an alternative opportunity in the near future for their live debut.
A main feature of the Sunday line-up, the loss of W.E.T. leaves a significant gap to fill, but I believe I have the answer and will make an announcement on that in the next 24-48 hours. The Eclipse slot will be filled by reallocating time slots for the other Saturday artists.

Refunds for any ticket holders coming specifically for the W.E.T. performance are available. One again, my personal apologies for this issue arising and causing disruption to the MelodicRockFest event. Everyone else is locked in and ready to go for a fantastic weekend of hard rocking fun.

Sorry to hear this Drew. Even though I'm not able to go I was looking forward to hearing/seeing some clips from these guys.

Kinda bizarre they'd have you on a retainer in TSO...

And for the record, seeing TSO in the springtime when the snow is melting, the birds are serenading me awake me in the morning, and the temperatures are rising would be about as sensible and fun as a meet and greet with Friga.

You do realize that TSO is not doing Christmas music on this tour, right ?

Yes I do. I associate them 100% with Christmas music and just really don't have a desire to hear non-Christmas music by them. Too bombastic and gimmicky for anything else.

I'm going, mainly because they are playing in a 6,000 seat "theater" 10 minutes from me.

I MIGHT go check them out one of the nights here in Cleveland later this month because it's still a hell of a group of musicians. It's a bit pricey given my desire (or lack thereof) to see them outside of Christmas time... I still really want to see them during the traditional Christmas tour. Haven't been able to do it these last few years.

Not kidding! Would be a great show! But I swore off buying new WASP albums a few years back due to Blackie rewriting the same few songs over and over again. I've heard about 10 variations of "Chainsaw Charlie" now, and Helldorado was abysmally bad (almost every song used the same guitar riff, sung in the same way in the same way). But dang, the good stuff is reallllllly good!

Anyway, my point is, you know nothing. :) WASP RULES!!!
