There's good reason many refer to Paul as "The Voice," and the fact that virtually any artist worth a damn is willing to work with the man speaks volumes.

tremendous singer and stage presence. Not sure I'd put him up in the voice category for if no other reason than being somewhat limited with what he can do compared to others--ie VERY good on Bad Co, but average on other types of music. Either way, he's very influential on singers, and he's still got "it".

He may look a little different now, maxxed out on facelifts and botox, but he still has the voice. He is without doubt one of the greatest blues rock singers ever. And remember, he was already at the top of his game FORTY years ago, with a vocal style and stage presence that would be emulated by thousands of rock singers to come after him. The vast majority of those never came close to matching him.

I must admit, I wasn’t keen on the stuff he did with Queen, but with Free, Bad Co, The Firm, The Law and his solo stuff, he is excellent.

One of my all time favourite albums is Cut Loose, a solo project recorded at his home, where as well as singing he plays every instrument on the album – including drums.

Steve, that June 24th date was from 2009. They'll be in Minnesota this year at that time.
