You missed out. In 2005 they did the vocal intro in Los Angeles. It did sound cool. Great rock song.

Did they really do it though? That's a pretty tough harmony.

At any rate, it definitely sounded cool. Would have loved to have seen the whole tune.

I was three sheets to the wind(eventually got popped climbing the fence to the tour buses- cut the fuck out of my inner elbow), true story....Lula maintains it was definitely live audio. Cain, Neal and Augeri did it, but only the intro...didn't play the entire song.

I'm nearly certain it was done live. And yes, it was just the intro, and then (at least in Indianapolis and Chicago), went right into Kohoutek and Of A Lifetime. Pretty damn sweet way to start a concert. The setlist for that tour was unbelievable - too bad it's now tainted.

Seperate Ways
Only the young
Ill be alright without you
Change for the better
Wheel in the sky
Message of love
Girl cant help it
Send her my love
If he should break your heart
Turn down the world tonight
Ask the lonely
Whos crying now
The Party's Over
Still they ride
Lights
Be good to yourself

Wine and Cheese crowd. Want the DD and ZERO else.

Not A-typical of MOST american rock concert audiences. Bruce's crowds MAY be the lone exception (even the Stones get killed by MOST of the audience if they didg too deep too long in a set) to the annoying "PLAY SOMETHING GOOD!!!!!!! (direct quote from audience dope during the pre-perry set opening night 2005, audible on the bootleg) crowds.

state of grace was under the radar tour as the lead song... 2002.

I doubt the visual effect were as I prescribed.

When I saw Godsmack, they had these pyro charges that rattled the whole arena and looked like a stick of dynamite going off. State of Grace needs those and huge dragon's breath flames as the riff starts.

This has nothing to do with the setlist, but I would really like to see Journey invest some more money back into the stage design and high tech computerized lighting like they used to back in the 70s and 80s. Do something different with their stage design other than the typical large screen in the middle or two smaller screens on each side with lighting in the middle.

Good start....

They should play some solo Perry tunes just to tease SP. Not to stir any SH!& ...just for fun.

Arnel could probably do a good job.

When's the last time you went, Col.?

You're missing good shows dude, and F**&n Detroit is an all-time Jrny hotbed. Fact most acts acknowledge Michigan overall as a great concert state with the motor city and Grand Rapids among others.

You're a loon

Last time was the Grand Rapids show with JSS on vocals. Just sick of hearing the songs sung by yet another replacement. Told myself then and there it was the last time spending that much coin on a traveling jukebox w/o the original singer.

If you didn't like that be glad you didn't see the band with Augeri singing before he was shit canned, he was god awful and couldn't sing parts in most of the songs. I haven't been to a show since. I'd probably have went to check out a show with Arnie on vocs, but I thought Revelations was a weak ass effort.
