Really? Let's ask Webster: "the habits, attitudes, tastes, moral standards, economic level, etc., that together constitute the mode of living of an individual or group." Seems like a lifestyle to me, asshole.

The only "study" I'm interested in is the one I just conducted and I have concluded that you're a fucking moron.

So, when a dude sucks another dude's cock and then hums Raspberry Beret by Prince as he "goes in through the out door," it's all involuntary??? You're one dumb son of a bitch. Listen, I'll fess up, man. I've seen some 16 and 17 year old girls that have made my motor hum, but I step back because my moral compass steers me in the other direction. These fuckers should have theirs adjusted. And I don't care how you're fucking born. If you think there's something right, natural or proper about a man stuffing his prick in another man's shit pipe and bruising his kidneys ... you need fucking help.

I was raised Catholic. Argued a little logic over birth control & won vs Fr Allison in 12th grade 1965. Lets see- Birth control is not natural, Father said. I said Well, death is punishment for original sin ,right? So why is medicine preventing death O K ? He said" because God gave man the knowledge". I said " he also gave man the knowledge to prevent birth". I do draw the line with abortion, especially after the 1st trimester. I left in 1972 because spiritually does not have to be in a certain building with certain rules. All organized religion uses control. What has been going on with some priests and covered up should be compensated by the amount of property being sold. The higher ups operated like the good ole boys club. Seriously, THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE AFTER DEATH & I CAN PROVE IT. Behave yourselves.

The basic outline (in catholicism) goes like this.

Men and women are meant to procreate only within a marital relationship. Birth control is wrong (because you are interfering with god's will). Abortion is wrong (because you are interfering with god's will). Premarital sex is wrong, but I don't think I ever got claification on why exactly this one is a sin. Men and women are meant to procreate, so that's ok with god... I'll have to look up the marriage rule unless someone has the answer. They never really explained the "why" of it in (catholic) school, they pretty much just said "don't. it's a SIN." And they say that about everything, so I never asked.

So, basically, you must only have sex if you are married and if you are trying to produce a child.

Here's a funny story - My friend's mom is a devout catholic and actually followed the "no birth control" rule,. But here's the funny part.... her first pregnancy (my aforementioned friend), was the reason she had to get married. I mean, I don't care about that, but it makes me laugh that you're going to be so hard core that you follow the no birth control thing, but you're willing to let slide the "not before marriage" one.

And don't get me started on these freakin' priests. They're the ones that are supposed to be the TEACHERS of all these wonderful rules and are supposed to be the a source of leadership and guidance for the parishoners, but they kind of forget the rules when an alter boy wanders by. It makes me SICK. And believe me, I'm not just going by the stories in the news. this one hit home. My favorite priest at our church when I was a child is now on the Illinois Sex Offender registry. NOW I know why he was so friendly with the children. (no, I was not mistreated THAT way but he did do inappropriate things like have children sit on his lap and stuff... he was later found to have done inappropriate things with boys at another parish).

So forgive me if I have problems taking this group of nuts seriously. I am ALL for freedom of religion and freedom of worship, so I don't mean offense by that... I'm not a big fan of the organized thing. I am a fan of "be a good person and you will do ok". I don't need apriest who can't practice his own preachings to tell me that.

That is not the teaching, the church says you can warp the box springs all you want if you're married not ONLY if your trying for kids.

I'm no fan of the Catholic church and have railed on them fucks for years. I simply can't respect an organization that invites and protects pedophiles, mandates that its employees not have sex or children (priests and nuns) and hoards money in such a way that it would make a Jew blush. It's run very much like organized crime. At the surface they try and present a squeaky clean image, but when you get past the surface you realize it's all about money and power ... and they'll do virtually anything to retain that money and power.

I'll share a somewhat personal story that I think pretty much encapsulates this shit organization. My parents divorced when I was very young and I was raised by my mother. I saw my dad on the weekends and we were about as close as that sort of situation allows. Anyway, I went to Mount Carmel high school on Chicago's south side. It's a pretty prestigious high school whose alumni include Denny McClain (baseball's last 30 game winner), Antoine Walker (former NBA star), Donovan McNabb (Philadelphia Eagles), Edward Vrdolayk (powerful Chicago politician), and a whole host of other prominent Chicago alderman and statewide officials. Anyway, my father was in the father's club and my mother was in the mother's club. Part of being in the clubs was a sort of "insurance policy" that if one of your parents passed away while you were a student your tuition for the remainder of your years was free. My dad died during the summer of 1986 and my mother went to the school in the fall to talk to the administration about this "policy." The school "regretfully" informed her that because my parents were not married they couldn't honor it. Funny how the priests there could constantly smell like alcohol and I know a few of them were fags, but the action of my parents divorcing was "against the values the school believes in."

That's pretty much how they operate. They prey on dopey fuckers that have that little "gleam" in their eyes as they stroll into church and the priests prance around with a phony facade so they can milk your pocketbook so they don't have to work. Say 2 or 3 masses a day, pick out your next 11 year old target, count the day's money from the dumbfucks, get liquored up and go to sleep. I have almost zero respect for the catholic church. And I've long felt that the "no sex" policy for priests was a deliberate attempt to hide the fact that most of those fuckers are creepy pedophiles. The depths of hell will be lined with those assholes.

They aren't all pedophiles or homosexuals; though. I knew two women, one 20 and one 35 that were having flings with their priests Well, the 35-year-old, the priest would only have oral sex. Does that count? President Clinton says no.  .

I agree with this, for the most part. If you live your life morally, make good decisions and are good to others, why in the fuck would you need religion? Because they scare you into believing that God wants you to do it their way. That way they can manipulate your wallet or get you to strap on that homicide vest. Religions slowly brainwash you, and most people don't even realize it.

School cancels prom 'over lesbian date'

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/8563122.stm

A school board in the US state of Mississippi has cancelled a high school prom after a female student asked to attend with her girlfriend.

The board said it would not host the event due to "distractions to the educational process".

Student Constance McMillen, 18, said the move was in retaliation for her request to bring her girlfriend to the event and wear a tuxedo.

The school had circulated a memo prohibiting same-sex dates.

Ms McMillen, 18, approached school officials shortly before the memo was issued.

According to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which is backing Ms McMillen's case, the school board told her that she and her partner would not be allowed to arrive at the event together nor would she be allowed to wear a tuxedo, AP reported.

Itawamba County Agricultural High School in Fulton also reserved the right to ask Ms McMillen and her girlfriend to leave if it made any other students feel uncomfortable, the ACLU said.

The ACLU had given the Itawamba County school district until Wednesday to reverse the school's ban on same-sex couples attending proms.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the board said it hoped that "private citizens will organise an event for the juniors and seniors" instead.

Ms McMillen said cancelling the prom was an act of "retaliation".

"A bunch of kids at school are really going to hate me for this," she told local media.

She also said that when she asked a teacher about the school's ban on same-sex dates at the prom, she was told she had to remember where she was.

Does not suprise me in the least.

My entire 8 years at grammar school I witnessed fundraiser after fundraiser to fix the roof on the (unnecessarily large) church. Far as I know, that roof has still not been fixed, repaired, patched, whatever.

The box of church offering envelopes they gave us each year were numbered so they could tell what families were donating, and believe me, it wasn't because they wanted to send thank you notes. SICKENING.
