So what do you guys think this concept album will be about?

I was listening to Electric World recently and I thought that might be an idea -- to write about famous towns Journey has toured. It would be one of those 'tribute to the fans' kind of ideas.

There's also an idea of making an album all about the small town girl and the city boy, further riding the wave of DSB.

Many have suggested it could be about Arnel's rags to riches story, but that seems too obvious.

I don't know about the last two items you mentioned.
How many times can you go to the well over the same subject matter? DSB is starting to drop down the Euro-charts finally. I think you can only keep pushing that song so far before it becomes a mockery of itself.

Riding Pineda's saga seems more like putting opportunism over creativity. Also, if you are writing about AP's story, wouldn't it be better to have the guy there writing with you while you're in the moment, rather then fleshing things out in the studio at the last minute? Of course if the album fails, we'll have someone to unfairly lay the blame on.

The first idea sounds cool.

I definitely think it would be overkill to write an album around DSB, but who knows what they're thinking.

Holly ShiT!! He's dating someone older than 30? WTF?

Well, his last girlfriend Lori is at least in her very early 40s. Someone YouTubed an interview she did on some show in 1989 when I was seventeen and she was a Stevie Nicks impersonator and there is no way she isn't at least a few years older than me. I can't believe Cindy is 54, but she's had more work done on her than the exhaust system on my car. It's well done though and she looks much better than before she started, so I don't blame her. Demi Moore and a few other Hollywood stars have probably had at least as much work done on them and won't admit it, so they aren't in the Guiness Book of World Records. Good on Neal for finding a lovely lady his own age!

I'm assuming that the 73 in her "LC73" screen name is her year of birth, Sherri. That would make her either 36 or 37. Boy, did you just make an enemy.

 She wouldn't be the first woman to fudge her age by a few years, especially in an industry where youth is everything and 40 is the kiss of death unless you're Madonna. I saw the '73 and figured she was hoping people would think that meant she was born in '73 - most women tend to knock 5 years off, so I'm guessing '68 is the actual year. Here's the video of her on 'Joel Samuel Presents' in 1989 - there is no way she is only 16 years old here!

What happened to Lori?

Postby 4ever4Steve » Mon Apr 05, 2010 1:53 am

I thought she and Neal were so perfect for each other. Like that song,"Just what I Needed"...he cleaned up his life after meeting her, and looks better now, then he did 15 years ago?
I am such a romantic...I thought Neal had finally found 'true love'! Does anyone know what happened?? I hate when the "happily ever after stuff goes kaput!

Any info?

The guy has what, 5 ex-wives? Some people aren't cut out for the monogamy thing...

Of course, most such people figure it out after 1 or maybe 2 marriages, not 5, but what are you gonna do? ;)

Neal seems to have a great relationship with his kids, namely Miles. He's a rock star, living the rock star life ... no more and no less. By all accounts, he's on time with his child support and never gripes about it. The dude has tons and tons of bank, and doesn't appear to want to die with most of it sitting in the fucking bank. Neither would I. This guy's living the good life.

Neal's last ex (Amber) and 2 youngest daughters were at the Vegas show to watch Dad. Certainly seems like they all still get along.
