Adam & his fans have raised over $ 300 hundred thousand $$$$$$ for arts projects including music to photography because arts are underfunded in schools. He took music supplies to this school. Most in this school are from LOW income families. This included guitar strings to anything they needed. He made them feel great about their abilities. He is a class act. Thank you ,Jason!!!!!!! for the AOL sessions. They are so clear, w/o audience singing and great lighting.

Yeah, that one had me drooling pretty hard too.

I gotta say, Jana, Adam does that song better than Muse IMO.

I thought Adam did Aerosmith, Led Zep , U2 & Queen with astounding musical cred. What he did w Starlight, Ring of fire & Mad World was icing.....He is a superstar & voice of this century. That is what I called Perry yrs ago( C 1980 ). Adam IS Perry, Plant,Mercury,Tyler 30 YRS LATER !

I don't know. I like them both for different reasons. Matt's rendition has a more tender, sweet delivery, and Adam's is a more powerful delivery. Two different interpretations.

Maybe it's a guy-girl thing here, Jana, but your reason for appreciating the Muse version is exactly the reason I don't care for it too much myself. I think it's too tender & sweet, somewhat passive & apologetic. Adam's version to me is more realistic of the emotions one experiences with a break-up. It's raw, edgy & stinging.

He's a star, a natural with a very commanding stage presence. Ring of Fire and Mad World performance gave me chills on AI. But Squirt might be going a little far on his comparison. Time will tell if he has the chops and longevity to be a "Superstar."

Agreed. Just listened to the Muse version and have to say had a hard time listening to the whole thing. Wow, yawn...... Too tender for me, doesn't sound like there is any emotion behind it.......maybe I would have had a different take if I hadn't heard Adam's version first, but the Muse version doesn't do a thing for me.

I keep falling behind on my Twittering & so I'm late bringing you this news. YES, Adam will perform on American Idol later this season. He's just not allowed to tell us when at this point, but this is his "tweet" on the topic:

Yes, I have been booked on Idol! Can't reveal the date yet but it's a ways off... So excited. Kris and Allison were awesome last night

Well the audiences in those countries better hope they aren't texting while he's "performing". I heard on the radio the other day that the dumb-ass stopped singing right in the middle of a concert, and brought everyone's attention to a young girl who was texting. He yelled at her to stop texting, and if she wanted to do that, she could have stayed home. Way to go you fucking retard... burn bridges with the very people that are there supporting you!!! Enjoy these 15 minutes buddy.

You could be right there, squirt1. I was thinking he would save his guest appearance for something more like the season finale, but what do I know?Image I like your suggestion better (when they cut to the top 12) b/c the finale really should be the time for the final 2 contestants to shine...... even though this season sucks & so far there isn't much to see..... I'm still holding out hope that something good will come along & one of the contestants will break out of his or her shyness & show us what they're made of.

G I Jim-You evidently didn't hear the lady talk about her incident with Adam regarding the cell phone. You can hear her radio interview on YouTube- Adam Lambert's Rude Caller reacts on Elvis Duran radio Show. She said he was very nice & funny. Get facts straight from the source.

What are the facts? I don't care if he stopped performance and made the funniest, most light-hearted joke in the world about it. If he stopped mid-song and did that, that's totally unbecoming and unprofessional to all ticket holders. If he did it in between songs, no harm no foul I guess.

Matt and I share the same brain Squirter! He get's it occasionally, but I have it most of the time. I do agree with what he said... if he stopped the show, he's an egotistical asshole. I applaud your support of him, but his actions (on top of the fact that I just don't like his vocals) do nothing but make him look like a dumb-ass. More power to you though!

First of all, when I'm drunk, you'll know it, believe me.

Second of all, if you don't think it's totally unprofessional for a professional performer to STOP PERFORMING in the middle of the song, well then hey, I've got some top quality boots from Augeri's 2005 tour to share with you. Only $100 a pop - don't worry, they sound GREAT - just like the record! You have to be a mental midget or not much of a knowledgeable music fan to think that stopping a performance for any reason short of a fan getting trampled or the guitarist's getting electrocuted on stage is excusable by any means. WOW. And people wonder why music is dead in this country.
