Lisa Lampanelli makes me blush when she does those celebrity roasts.![]()
I can't believe some of the stuff that lady says, but she is by far funnier than Sarah Silverman & you can tell she's having fun while taking cheap shots at herself & entertaining her adult oriented audience.
Silverman, on the other hand, seems to throw anything around just for the sake of shocking the audience with little or no entertainment value ala Michael Richards' infamous epic fail.

Ms. Silverman needs a reality check.

Here's a link to an article that points out Sarah Silverman likes to make up lies about other celebrities for chuckles. Apparently she thought it was funny to claim in 'The Aristocrats' that NYC talk show host Joe Franklin raped her - what kind of a joke is that? Seriously, if she does that just for fun that makes her nothing but an unfunny, sick bitch and I don't say that lightly.

Saint John wrote:Personally, I think this is all a stunt, but even if Perry did say "You have the best nigger jokes." ... so what?Rappers and comedians use the word all the time. What was he supposed to say ... "You have the best n-word jokes"?
People need to step the fuck back and look at the context the word is used in before jumping to conclusions. To imply someone is a racist because they used the word in a sentence like that is just plain fucking stupid. If she has jokes ... and they contain the word "nigger" ... then his statement makes perfect sense to me!
I hope he gets his balls out of Swafford's purse and responds "Sarah Silverman is a skanky cu-nt." He'd just be telling the truth.

People like to claim he has all these friends who happen to be black and whom he had enlisted to take the places of his former bandmates; well; big deal. In saying the "n" word in a so-called funny and clever way he just has lamblasted his friendships with those black men he so admired. It has leveled the playing field. I'm sure he doesn't refer to Randy as the black nigger or says it to Moyes or to these other men yet he felt comfortable enough as reported by SS to congratulate her on telling the "n" jokes. It's not funny no matter how you have heard it. There are no excuses just ask John Mayer; it's not pretty nor funny nor clever. He can deny this as he has; that is his choice; but I'd say again be careful with whom you are talking if you are a celebrity because somebody in the crowd may be waiting for you to drop the "n" bomb aka Michael Richards aka John Mayer aka the tea partyers...no matter who says it; it still doesn't sound good. And it makes the person appear to be a very tiny person spouting racist words wearing a white hood. I just hope he didn't say it. American, Portuguese or not.

Steve Perry of Journey dead? No, but he might be racist!

Is Steve Perry of Journey dead? Don't...stop believin' internet rumors! The front man of the '80s band (and the rocker who had one of the sweetest mullets ever) is still alive. To say he's dead is just a bunch of mindless gossip. But to say Steve Perry a racist is a whole other story...
In an interview with Playboy set to hit new stands tomorrow, Sarah Silverman told the magazine how the lead singer of a popular '80s band approached her after a show and told her, "You’re my favorite comedian. You have the best n***** jokes." "Whoever would make such an offensive comment? Though Silverman didn't provide a name, she did give a hint, "I’ll just say this: After that, I stopped believin."
Steve Perry is on the defense though. He's gone to Rolling Stone to try to set the record straight. He acknowledged having met Sarah Silverman but denied saying the n-word outright. "I don’t use that word, are you kidding? That’s so derogatory," said the rocker. Steve Perry explained his side of the story saying, "I walked up to her after the show and I said, ‘I can’t believe that somehow you seem to be getting away with all these slurs and the n-word, I just can’t believe how you’re doing this,’ and I looked at my friend and I said, ‘I can’t believe how she’s getting away with this,’ and she looked at me and kind of smiled. It wasn’t like I was condemning her or condoning her, it was just that I can’t believe how somehow creatively she was making everybody in that club of all colors and all ethnic backgrounds laugh. That’s what it was."
This sounds like a he said, she said story. Do you think Steve Perry is racist? Or do you think Sarah Silverman is stretching the truth for attention? She does like to push the envelope and is fairly obnoxious, so who knows what she's capable. But if it's true, hearing "Don't Stop Believin'" late night at the bar might not be the same.

Yea, Sarah Silverman is not as funny to me as Lisa Lampanelli. That big bitch is hysterical! And she picks on EVERYONE and she talks about black woman and our hair, *snort*! Now that's guts! Seriously, I believe Lisa is a performance artist delivering a character and an indelible style that she wants her audience to walk away with. I don't quite know what Sarah is portraying, but I don't get where she is coming from. And I don't think she is that funny. Joan Rivers can be "biting" and mean, but she's self deprecating at the same time. She's still funny to me.

See, why can some people take a joke and others can't ...you never hear of the psychos, large people,
short people or idiots complaining about being made fun of ...

Fat people DO get offended about fat jokes, I think it's just more like society shuts them up because it's more accepted to ridicule fat people, and probably because it's something the fat person has control over.
You know what you're getting when you see someone like Lisa Lampanelli... she's an insult comic. She doesn't discriminate in who she picks on. Sarah Silverman is more of a shock comic and people should take that into account when seeing her, too.

I certainly hope you're not insinuating that I'm an idiot...
Point being ...that's what comics do ...make fun, poke fun, complain about
things!! Someone is bound to get hurt and/or offended!! I agree w^^^if you are
going to be bothered by the show...don't go!!
