HAPPY FRIDAY...FOR THOSE WITH JOBS!!

Postby MBPL » Sat Apr 03, 2010 2:53 am

Welp, Bad news  : My stinking dying desktop and lousy wireless for laptop. Good news :D: darkness is slowly lifting, I am feeling better. No drugs, just good old writing, socializing, using "down time" to breathe, and of course cleaning my place like a hamster on crack. More importantly, whoo whoot, I passed both my PAP and MAMMO exams!!!! (TMI for men, sorry). Dodged another hereditary bullet for the next 3 years!

Despite bad weather issues and other things that get in the way of happiness, I hope all you wonderful folks enjoy your weekend with a flourish!

My Friday: Everyday is "Friday" when you're out of work, har!
My weekend: Cleaning, seriously, never noticed how much dust collects w/2 cats & hardwood floors. Writing, gym, writing, relax, repeat.

Errands, 90 min at gym this am. Doing my tax returns and laundry tonight.
Gym, recycling and talking to family tomorrow.
Cleaning out gardens both days.
Praying for rain. Should go to church, might help.....oh well, can't be perfect.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Job is still fine, problem is I am still sick and having to work. :( I cannot shake this long going throat infection. Now the doc is talking possible surgery. Blech. I hope we can avoid that. In order to get our spring break, we are having to do parent teacher meetings and inservice after school. That means I am at the school till around 7 pm and having to drive an hour and fifteen minutes home. puting me home about 8:15. Then I have to be up at 4:30 to get ready again. My kids are reved up and I am having to talk over them to get their attention. I cannot seem to get well at this rate. Summers coming! Looking forward to a break. I love my job though. :D

This weekend. Trying to get well, resting and recooperating. Drawing at the coffee shop for peace of mind. Taking Monday off to go see the doc..............again.

Other than that doing fine. I wish you great things Lorrie. :D

I know I shouldn't giggle, honey, but I just have this image of you turning up to a class room full of eight year olds and causing a whine-riot when you tell them you have to eat ice cream and jelly for breakfast, lunch and dinner because they took your tonsils out.

Get better soon, Ginger-girl.
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

Feel better Miss Ginger, seriously. I think because you are so active you are not getting the time to relax thereby the persistent illness continues on. I hope you feel better soon. Of course I wish the best for you as well. L :D
