This is just crazy, Radio is already dead, this is going to make it worse the last of the Mom N Pop stations will be gone for sure after this passes. The corporate stations will just be playing more of the same garbage, with even more deduced play lists.

Remember back in the day when artists used to travel around begging
radio stations to play their music?! I guess, then, they needed
the radio stations to have a career do to begin with. If I
were CCC, I'd quit playing the whining artists records NOW!!
Course, if this passes ...good~bye radio as we know it!!

Watch out, karaoke night is next!!!

"NAB was aware this letter was coming, which is a position taken previously by the Bush Commerce Department. We're disappointed the Commerce Department would embrace legislation that would kill jobs in the US and send hundreds of millions of dollars to foreign record labels that have historically exploited artists whose careers were nurtured by American radio stations. The good news is that 260 members of the House of Representatives and 27 US Senators are standing with hometown radio stations and against the RIAA."
