The very fact that your teacher has cancer and needs funds just to survive is sickening. How can any American, after knowing this story, be happy with the current health care situation? People shouldn't die in this country because of a lack of funds. I hope all the people who think coverage for all regardless of condition is wrong, look at this situation and tell me with a straight face that they still advocate such a system. If so, you aren't the America I want to know.

I hope for an improvement. But it needs to be thought out so it does more good than harm. We have so many years till it works anyway...........we can do some thinking for it's own good. Forgive me Deano, but as much as it pisses you off we have to think of what we can do right now. And if I have to debase myself to help her I will, as a matter of fact many of her old students are pitching in. She is very loved.
