The ultimate "dream" band would be...

Postby G.I.Jim » Wed Apr 07, 2010 5:47 am

Alright, I'm sure this has been done a hundred times before, but I'm bored! I was just sitting here thinking about the possibilities you could have if you could put anyone together. I'm talking about what each of these guys sounded like in their primes too. Mine would look something like this...

Steve Lukather
Neal Schon
Dennis Deyoung
Kip Winger (on bass)
Simon Phillips

So how about yours?

Dennis would kick Cronin's balls into the ground if you threw the two of them into a cage fight! All he'd have to do is wave a lighter around that fuckers face and he'd have enough plastic to mould an exact replica of that robot, which would then finish his ass off for good!!!

Another great line-up (minus Kimball, for ME anyways). I'd replace him with Jamison personally.

Nobody can "help" someone with their addictions, other than not being an enabler. The only thing you can do is let them know you care about them, but that's about it. I'm not familiar with Gary or what you're talking about, and I'm just talking in general.

Take away "vallery" and add in Jack Blades and you have something.

If a drummer is "all thumbs", does that make him a "drumber"?

Jesus christ, 98% of people here have clearly never listened to anything not released between 1980 and 1989

Kip Winger on bass? wtf Jim? Is he that good at bass?

I expect more of you Cougz. Remember, I am always watching you. Besides, Lights1961 is a travel agent, he doesn't need to spell...he just needs to throw up a city code like LAX and he knows it's Los Angeles, or OTM for Ottumwa or BFD for Bakersfield. Of course the greatest city code is SOL, for Solano Beach. Rick knows these, or I should say he better know these.

No shit. I think Tomulator had the best band, in fact I know he did.

Matty wrote:Kip Winger on bass? wtf Jim? Is he that good at bass?

LOL, no shit again. Winger on anything all star is automatically wrong. Hell, might as throw Dokken on there too, or for a good laugh, maybe the drummer from Trixter or the keyboard player from fuckin Genesis. :? Gay all the way around.
