No. I have it and like it the way it is. It's better musically than Hi Infidelity. The Key is great btw.

I agree, the Key is a pretty good tune. Too bad they don't touch this album live, REO has to be the most routine live act touring, they play the exact same 15 songs, kind of wonder if they know how to play anything else.

Keep the Fire Burnin' is on one of their live CD's, I know that, but you're right, nothing else from that disc is live. They are worse than Journey when it comes to playing the same old shit night after night.

They were playing a few off their last album, but that was short lived, I don't think they touch anything off that one either. Bruce Hall still plays the exact same intro into "Back On The Road Again" good lord learn a new solo for crying out loud.

Hahaha, I know exactly what you are talking about.. I remember Bruce Hall played or opened the Bridge tour with Hey Wait a Minute..song sucks, and he also did a bass opener for Variety Tonight off the Life as We Know It disc.
Speaking of the Bridge record, they had some good tunes on that..When I get Home was solid as was The Ballad of the Illinois Opry.

TNB, let me post the setlist now for you..see how close I am, ok? Assuming they are playing with another band, here goes:
Of course the opener will be Don't Let Him Go, then,
Take it on the Run
Keep Pushin'
Golden Country
Can't Fight this Feeling
Time for Me to Fly
Back on the Road Again
Keep on Lovin You
Roll With the Changes
encore:
Ridin' the Storm Out
They may add "Son of a Poor Man" in the middle before or after Time for Me to Fly and they may add another encore.
I bet I am pretty close.

Seven Wishes wrote:"Abysmal? He's the most proactive President since Clinton, and he's bringing much-needed change for the better to a nation that has been tyrannized by the worst President since Hoover."- 7 Wishes on Pres. Obama

If they play solo without another band, add in That Ain't Love and Tough Guys somewhere in the middle, before or after Time for Me to Fly and they may add another encore, like 157...their best live tune IMHO.
I bet I am pretty close.
If REO had balls, which of course they don't, as they are a neutered band on all fronts, they would play Shakin it Loose and Love is a Rock...solid tunes.

Two good calls there Dean. I'd also add "She's gonna love me", which is probably their best rocker without Richrath.
NO!!! HI~INFI is among my top ten albums of all time ...NO!!! But I do like it!!:wink:Thenightbull wrote:I think if it had can't fight this feeling on it it would've been hi infidelity II which it shoulda been. Anyone else think the same????

sometimes they start with or Ride in the storm out... that song never gets old...
Love Golden Country... and time for me to fly...
as REO goes... NINE LIVES was a great Album... Only the Strong survive great under rated song... and back on the road again...
liked good trouble too.
