Wouldn't mind hearing Bytor.... in its entirety, as well as The Necromancer, which among RUSH bootleg traders would be the Holy grail from the Caress of Steel Tour

They could dust of a couple of VERY rare tracks...Fancy Dancer, Bad Boy, and Garden Road...and their demos: Not Fade Away, and Can't Fight It

I'd personally love to hear The Body Electric, Vital Signs(from Moving Pictures so I will), Heresy, War paint, and The Enemy Within...

They did both in it's entirety on the Permanent Waves tour in 1980....I was there. The Necromancer,Bytor.

I just watched on youtube, Kevin Cronin being interviewed(please don't ask me why), and he said in all his masculinity, "Man, when we get up in front of our crazy fans, and turn the knobs all the way up, we are one of the loudest bands out there on the road." Huh, ok KC. Have some more asparagus and rye.

Pussy. TNB will be enraged when he reads this, but he is a pussy too.

I've always thought REO put on a damn good show when I saw them. Cronin's yapping is annoying, but they are a great live band. They have to be one of the few 80s bands out there actually singing their own backing vocals (and well too).

You don't like Rush and Kansas right? What about Yes?

I've seen Rush about 10 or 12 times and MAN, they kick ass live, and every time there's roughy 15,000 people there going nuts, playing air drums more than air guitar. It's funny how some music grabs some people more than others, guess that's what makes the world go round.

I can understand people not liking Rush. You either love them or hate them. How can one not like Kansas?

Well either you need to get new bottle of gingko, or you've had too many hits on the crack pipe....

Last time Necromancer was played in its entirety was on the Caress of Steel tour in '75.....they did, however play an abbreviated version on the '77 tour....

What venue did you see Rush at in '80?

First of all, Kansas annoys me. Only one or two songs I can stand. REO claim to be loud? Yikes.

RUSH kicks ass live. I will be at either the Milwaukee or Chi-town show. I saw on Summerfest's website that they'll be in the Amp, and then on Live Nation it said Miller Lite Oasis. That Oasis stage always gets good acts, but that's an insult to RUSH if they put them there. Although....many times there are better headliners at the smaller stages during Summerfest. The construction finally being done may entice me to lug back there again.

Why not play Moving Pictures in it's entirety? That's what all these bands are doing now, and besides half of that album is in the set list each night anyway.

There's a Rush cover band playing at the Miller Lite Oasis the same day as Rush is playing, there's no way that Rush would be playing a side stage at Summerfest :)
