You can always bet in a match lime that Don will come out on top!

There is no doubt in my mind about that!

Hmm, looks like he sang with somebody at MR Fest in South Bend. Who was it?

Wait, it's.....

LOL!!!

I've been jamming on their first album every day and it kicks A! Haven't even popped the 2nd one in yet. Maybe by next week.

LOL- there were a couple acts we did miss at the first one in South Bend, but I'm pretty sure Eden's Curse wasn't in the lineup, though that was over 2 years ago now and I could be completely wrong, lol. Yeah I like what I've heard of them, I'm sure they'll be pretty awesome live.

Aha... I got the answer here: http://www.heavyharmonies.com/mrfest2007/

The MelodicRock Allstars

Affectionately self-named "Clusterfuck", they had never even met until an hour before the show, let alone rehearsed, and did a yeoman's job. Vocals: Michael Eden (Eden's Curse), Keyboards: Eric Ragno (Ted Poley, China Blue, American Angel), Drums: John Parker (Talon), Guitar: Vic Rivera (Adriangale, Crunch, Poley Rivera), Bass: Doug O'Dell (Crunch).

I invited him to come to the MR boards, and he replied. :) I'm just uploading a new song to YouTube, and will post it once it's done. This band ROCKS.

To my knowledge, I have the only photo captured of Tito in the wild. Are there others?

Rip - I'm thrilled you are moving on now that Don has completely blown his voice and sounds like he's been lost in the desert chocking on sand... Mike's a great replacement :)

Hey, now -- Don's just like any Marvel Comics character these days. You can kill him off but it's guaranteed he'll be back just like Captain America, stronger than ever. Superman, too.

You've met Michael Eden before... is he really 11 feet tall?

When the hell did that come out?!? I turn my back on Don for a second and the album comes out. I'll have to listen to them now.

Maybe that's for the best. I haven't listened to any of these yet, but did read several reviews and am not too encouraged. I'm ordering it anyway. It's Don Dokken, so it rules by default.

Utterly hideous. The band needs a new lead singer.

Ok, just like Steven Seagal, there just has to be a line somewhere, no matter how far down it is. This is it -- these re-records sound like hell and I think it was a huge mistake to put this out. I'm sure he had some business reason for doing it, but c'mon, Don. I'm not buying this crap.

I still think he can pull out another good album if he'll take care of his damn voice long enough to record it. Everyone knows he barely pulled thru on LSA (which did turn out KILLER despite his weaker voice), and he'd already completely lost his voice when they first went to record it. Put down the freakin' cigarettes and whiskey Don...

You've missed a buttload of killer Dokken, dude! Heck, this is just from the last album:

And don't tell me it sounds like Cronin with a frog in his throat.

I still love the Japanese self titled album from the last 90s "Dokken". Great songs and FAR FAR better mix than the re-mixed version that would later come out in USA.

Better sequencing, different and rawer mix (far better - Dysfunctional was too polsihed up for a "modern" audience) and sounds great.
