REO 4/10/10

Postby Everett » Sun Apr 11, 2010 4:06 pm

Hello to all in the mr universe just got home a while ago from an awesome concert from reo. Pretty much the usual show with a few surprises i think deano may agree anyway hear was the setlist to the best of my reccollection.

Don't Let Him Go
Keep On Lovin you (with neal on keyboards)
In your letter
take it on the run
keep pushin
golden country
son of a poor man
in my dreams/unfinished poem (both were acoustic and the other is a new song)
can't fight this feeling
back on the road again
time for me to fly
that ain't love
ridin the storm out
roll with the changes
157

I'm pretty sure that's it.

Also i got to watch soundcheck for a few minutes that was pretty awesome to.

I saw REO last month in Springfield, IL. They headlined, and .38 Special and Styx opened for them. Styx blew REO away. During Styx everyone was on their feet. After REO started, everyone sat down and then started leaving. I don't know if it was because it was a weekday or because REO was having a weak day. They seemed to realize that they lost the crowd and they just gracefully completed their setlist and did no encores.

It's a shame that they're no longer doing songs from 2007's Find Your Own Way Home. Such an incredible album!

That's find your own way home. Folks go to there shows to hear the hits and unfortunately that's all there gonna play. I would like to hear some stuff off the good trouble album and 9 lives not gonna happen which is bs but ya can't blame them.

Wow, with as much as I loved/love that album and as many copies as I bought for friends, that's a really embarrassing mistake. Nine Lives is a masterpiece. I agree that they should be playing a lot more than "Back On The Road Again" from that one.
