They have a solid recent history of using controversy to sell fat food to our chillins. I remember when they re-defined the King in creepy ads showing him in bed with people, and doing generally unsettling things. People either love him or hate him now (same technique to spark conversation like the new Tiger Woods ad). So I did some digging back and was shocked at how many times they've taken fire for pushing the envelope. Check out this ad

Here's the fine print (italics mine):
"IT'LL BLOW YOUR MIND AWAY. Fill your desire for something long, juicy and flame-grilled with the NEW BK SUPER SEVEN INCHER. Yearn for more after you taste the mind-blowing burger that comes with a single beef patty, topped with American cheese, crispy onions and the A1 Thick and Hearty Steak Sauce."
I'd be interested to know how much more stevew2's spent at Burger King since that ad debuted almost a year ago.
And there is more -- here's one from 2008 where they took fire for taking advantage of indigenous Transylvanians in their "Whopper Virgins" campaign. That sucks worse than Dracula.

Just like the radical far left, now the fast food chains are engaged in a sinister conspiracy to undermine the fabric of our nation with poisoned, chemical-laced food products and amoral, insensitive propoganda. It's time to call in Michael Eden.
