I love running, but I really can't do it much any more unless I want my knee to be balky for the next 2 days after that. Got some tendinitis there. I do the bike more than anything else for cardio... high resistance. Good cardio, good leg workout, and low impact. I save tearing up my knee for when I play get out on the court to do an actual sport.

Bicycling is great. I've had too many broken bones cause of it though, so I just avoid them altogether. But interval training, whether it's running, or with a bike, is the best cardio workout around. Try it some time, man. The one I usually do is : 8 sets of high intensity intervals, 20 seconds each, with 10 seconds rest inbetween each set. It'll make you explosive and give you stamina (anaerobic and aerobic).

And you're not even funny anymore, Steveo. Either contribute, or get the fuck out :wink:

I played college tennis man... I am interval trained to a T ! :shock: :lol:

Man I miss competing... don't miss suicides at 6 AM though... :evil:

No extra stuff till after my Praxis three next Wed. No running. I will start a routine after it is over. It is all I can do to get everthing done, with a concert show on Saturday night, Praxis next week, and an Art show to prepare for on May 6. I will eat healthy though, and try and get well enough first. As I said, after next Wed. I can find time to get my butt off the desk and get some exercise. And yes I need it. I need it desperately. I put on the costume I am wearing for Cyndi Lauper and I look like a chubby drag queen. LOL! I will have someone take pics.............

I am going to have to loose weight. And I am eating healthy right now.........I will try to do better after next Wed. Right now my life is insane. Good advice and thank you for wishing us a lovely day Parfait. Even those of us of a larger nature............. :wink: :lol: I carry it well though! LOL! Hugs folks! :wink: :lol:

It's all that compassionate niceness, Ginger - your body had to accomodate it somehow ;)
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

LOL! Well I guess i am exploding with it! LOL! The double Ds don't help me look slimmer. The Can Can skirt doesn't help either ............my hair is going to be yellow and red................. :shock: :shock: I warned my principals that I might not get it all out.......then the tye dyed hippie artist jokes kept flying.........If they keep it up it might stay that color. :twisted: :twisted: :wink: :lol:
