Cereal Thread

Postby LtVanish » Fri Apr 16, 2010 9:45 am

I was at the store this morning and had to do a double take I could not believe my eyes. Quisp cereal was back on the shelves, I have not seen this stuff in years.

Honey Bunches of Oats
Frosted Mini Wheats
Basic 4
Cranberry Almond Crunch

etc...

I actually find the "adult" cereals a lot more tasty than a lot of those sugary cereals. All in all, it has to be a gross cereal for me not to like it though. Definitely one of my favorite general foods. The only cereals I really hate are the super chocolatey cereals, like Special K Chocolate Delight, Cocoa Puffs, etc etc. Shit's gross and totally devoid of nutritional value.

Yeah but they were fun to eat as kids, lol. Beer is totally devoid of nutritional value too, but still fun right?

As an "adult" , I only eat yogurt most mornings for breakfast 8)

I'm a HUGE fan of that song Matt, so I'll go listen to it and get back to you! I haven't heard it in ages, so I'll have to see if I have the sounds for it...

Porridge and rice bubbles. Still prefer vegemite on toast to both.

Even when I was a kid I hated sweet stuff at breakfast.
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

If Goldilocks looks like a big yellow labrador, you betcha. Right down to stealing the warm spot I left on the couch, sleeping on my bed when he thinks I won't notice, and standing up on his hind legs to try to steal the porridge out of my breakfast bowl. I just make an extra serve - it saves on broken crockery and doggy time-outs.

Now if I could just work out a way to stop him stealing my coffee, other than never leaving it on any surface under 3 feet high...
