Is that egg or cum on your face?

Speaking of jizz, can you be any more of a dick?!

Are you fucking kidding me? Matt says it as it is. You on the other hand like terrible music and always complain about officiating. You must be a miserable bastard. Go jack off to Trixter's latest release and then watch the Bruins take a dick up their ass against Buffalo.

I complain about officiating because the problem is rampant throughout the sporting world....in last night's Pens-Sens game Crosby threw a wicked crosscheck on Ruutu, literally bending him in half against the boards....and because Syd is the 'face of the league', nothing was called....officiating sucks across the board. Wake up, fucknut...

Dude, you don't get it: It's called the HUMAN element in sports. If we don't want human emotions, errors in judgment, and psychological warfare in sports, we might as well send robots out there to play and officiate. While I certainly don't condone bad officiating and don't deny that it exists, and I REALLY hate to see refs get overinvolved at the end of a game (or underinvolved as the case may be) in making calls or non-calls, the point is, it's one of the many variables that go into winning, along with the elements (if an outdoor sport), a team's ability to stay healthy, mental toughness etc etc.

Every one has complained about a perceived officiating bias or slant against his team in the past. Every single sports fan. But, when you whine about it after every fucking sporting event, including ones that you explicitly state you have no stake in, it just makes you look like a grumpy fuckin whiner that sits there all game waiting for some purported officiating bias or fuck up. It's totally beyond me how you can even enjoy watching sports given the fact that you apparently see conspiracies and games turning at the officials' hands in every sporting event you watch. Those of us who watch sports for excitement, drama, athleticism, and the passion of following our teams go far beyond that most of the time, and it's annoying for us to hear you bitch about refs after every fucking game.

Good post, and if you go back to countless upon countless number of posts, we've dealt with this before in the past and it was even annoying as fuck then. Of course, we all have our gripes about a call here or there that involves our teams, but that's what makes up the beauty of the game that involves winning and losing. Perfectly stated Matt.

I've said it time and time again, 1 or 2 calls should NOT be determined in part of the outcome of a professional sporting event. These pro athletes have a PLETHORA of opportunities within the game schedule to take it, and put their team in position to win it. But fuck, EVERY known sport, EVERY known game of at any given day and it's the same tune with Malone. Just STFU already.

Travis, Matt, and fucknut:

I'm going to explain myself ONCE, AND YOU will not see me complain about sports, Refs, or officiating again...

My problem with officiating is it is not consistent. And what I mean by that isn't that ONE team gets all the calls. If some infraction is illegal, them it Is illegal ALL THE TIME, in Any period...don't call tripping in the first period then ignore it in the third because you decide you wanna ' let them play', or don't want to let a call influence the outcome of a game....it is this part and parcel officiating that bothers me, and makes me think there is some sort of league collusion....

I'm sure the powers that be are salivating over a potential Pens/Bhawks, or Caps/BHawks final...

Who wants NJ/Kings, or Sabres/Predators? Ratings nightmare.

But I. digress...no more bitching about calls..

I'm out...

Good, get the fuck outta here. You don't even know hockey, so you have shit to contribute.

Dipshit, the NHL obviously does NOT care about ratings....let me restate that. They care of course, but they won't go to the extreme that the NBA does and make sure they get the teams they want. I have always maintained that the NBA was fixed. My point was somewhat validated when a referee went to prison for fixing games. If I had to bet, I would bet it went much deeper than a certain single ref. However, the other three sports are as legit as legit can be. Since we are talking NHL, let's see some of the Finals matchups we have had the last couple years. Ok, PIT-DET(2). Before that we had Carolina, Anaheim and Tampa Bay as Cup winners, hardly a ratings climax.

And you ask who wants a Sabres/Predators, NJ/LA Cup? I do, if those teams won their games, they are the representatives. I don't need Detroit or Pittsburgh in there every fucking year. I persdonally think it will be Vancouver/Buffalo.

Dude, your sports takes suck. Did you see the Boston/Buffalo game today? Boston shouldn't have won because on a play behind the net when the B's scored their 3rd goal, Charo crosschecked a Sabre. No, I don't really feel that way, but that's exactly how you sound. You're a fuckin whiner, and if I ever had a chance to line you up in whichever sport, I would hit you so hard your mom felt it 4 states away. Fuck you.

The Red Wings are pathetic. No defensive scheme or responsibility whatsoever. All that Bowman put together is ruined, they've gone from the "left wing lock" to a swinging gate. Add a rookie goaltender and the result will be a first round exit EVERY TIME.

Is this the same RedWingFan we've seen the last two years? One that was overly confident in whatever he said in ANYTHING related NHL? What a difference a year makes, eh?

couldn't we say the same thing about our Pens though? Last game was an improvement. I'm still
not convinced that Fleury can pull it together, but guess we'll see in a half hour!

*edit* Oh!! I think I misread your post  And RWF was always a whiner when it comes to his wings

Give or take, the Pens were still MAJOR under dogs the last two cup runs and Pens fans remained confident, but optimistic in their final against the Wings last season. As fans, I felt we came together to get behind the Pens, but reality felt that we STILL weren't good enough to beat the Wings in the finals last year. It all came together at the right time for us and that will continue, but Pens fans for the most part of the last two seasons, have been looking up at the higher ranks of the other conference.

This season, we all admit we aren't that great this season compared to last and we are inconsistent on many spots on the ice, esp goal tending. We will go as far as Fleury takes us, but we don't have that attitude of "We show up, we win" like MANY upon MANY Red Wings fans acted over the years.

Great game. Ottawa has only ONE thing going for them, and that's playing physical, very physical. Unfortunately, they are so worried about keeping our talent in check and resorting to a intimidating nature, that their not putting their offense in position to score any set-up goals and that's just a major no-no when playing the Pens. Pens FEED off of other teams who play too aggressive & eventually their talent alone will get the best of you. Ottawa's powerplay kill was decent but I don't expect this series to go anymore than 5. Pens win at 5 or at worst, let one slip away and win it in 6 on home ice.

Bah. Pens up by 2 now...
No offense, but I'm hoping to see your boys get knocked out. They got it last year... no need to be greedy.

It would be a pleasure to beat Hossa again in the Stanley Cup to up it Penguins 2 Hossa 0.

I thought the same thing when I watched him with the Hawks last night

Unfortunately, they are so worried about keeping our talent in check and resorting to a intimidating nature, that their not putting their offense in position to score any set-up goals and that's just a major no-no when playing the Pens. Pens FEED off of other teams who play too aggressive & eventually their talent alone will get the best of you. Ottawa's powerplay kill was decent but I don't expect this series to go anymore than 5. Pens win at 5 or at worst, let one slip away and win it in 6 on home ice.

I think that aggression is what they are playing off of too! It's what makes the game so heated and exciting though. Ottawa seemed very frustrated last night. I really think they wanted to hurt Malkin  Next game will be tough, but I think the Pens will win the series too :)

Excuse me.

Maybe this year Chicago will get it's chance, and if Pittsburgh is lucky they'll make it also - '92 rematch?
Only with a different outcome this time!! :o

Nothing to be ashamed about. Washington is a team full of rabid dogs at the moment. If you go down, just go down in class and bow out. However, not over til the fat lady sings. 8)
