Today was sooooooooooo long.....but fun! I got to meet so many cool people.
(BTW ~ "Lights Out", which is the name of this TV Series starring Stacey Keach, will premiere in 2011!)
The amount of 18-wheelers and crew for this kinda stuff....GOOD LORD!!!
Craft-Service was there.....they had AMAZING food and coffee, soda, etc.....ALL FREE!
We shot one scene: a Church-Service where the Priest asks the Congregation for donations for Haiti-Relief...the family, who's the focus of this FX TV series, donated $50,000 to the relief fund.which is where I and the other extras come in - look around and murmur.
This one scene was shot about 12 times: wide angle, close ups, focus on each of the speaking parts, crowd reaction, etc.
Heck, by the end of it, I practically had the Priest's lines memorized! LOL
Man I wish I'd studied Media Production.....to me, it's so cool to see how they line up a particular shot, execute the lighting (which, BTW, was cloudy and raining today...but they made it look like a bright, sunshine day) and arrange all the people involved.
TRAG out. And exhausted. CHEERS! \~/

Sounds perfect for you. You can get paid to play with pretty fonts, colors and graphics. Good Luck! You'll do great.

The interview was really great - they thought that my background in Advertising would be a "plus" to this job.
I'll hear back on Friday; very latest Monday.
