What are you saying here? I didn't notice any fuck-ups and if he did the quality of his singing covered that up for me... You are nitpicking. I also don't know what you mean by blitzed--he doesn't appear blitzed to me and as I recall you are the only one who has said that about him. If he was blitzed, he didn't do anything embarrassing or goofy. Re downtuning--I actually thought the lower tone made the songs even more fitting for a memorial--it certainly suited Neal's guitar-playing. The whole thing was totally appropriate for what it was--grieving for someone and a wishing for comfort. Dang, it was not only done beautifully well but it was certainly dignified.
