I saw this on Comedy Central yesterday - she talks about "CELL-een Dee YUNN" - which is how she pronounces it.
....I was LMAO!!

I don't know if you-all will think this is funny....but, I LOVE "observational humor".

TOTALLY AGREE on the absolute ABSURDNESS of Cirque.
It's kinda long....oh, and BTW....she is NOT "PC"

I had forgotten about this! I've seen every one of Kathy Griffin's specials posted on YouTube - I get a kick out her observational humour too. I can't remember in which one she talks about Brooke Shields' wedding, but it was quite a story.

She was hilarious in person, went to see her a few months ago and the gays took up most of the theatre cause they LOVE her!
she really played to them...but her show was $$$ and she only stayed on stage one hour....

They weren't really friends, they just worked together on 'Suddenly, Susan' - they were still filming the show when Brooke got engaged and the wedding was a few months after show ended, which is why she was invited. Kathy Griffin mentioned she was barely invited at all and it was Brooke who said 'you have to put this in your act' - I think that was when Brooke's mom Teri was drunk, walked up to KG's table at the reception, laid a liplock on her husband, and then grabbed Kathy Griffin's crotch. She went over to Brooke and said your mother just molested me - I could sue you and own this house!

But I understand why most celebrities avoid her - she tells the truth and spares no one. I don't agree with everything she does, but she is often pretty funny and ten times the comedian Sarah Silverman will ever be.
