I think the Steelers have had enough of how the last season went with the defense having no depth and providing no fresh, young legs in the 4th quarter. Steelers are sly, VERY sly. Acquiring Bryant McFadden with their 5th pick from the Holmes trade. That's why we didn't draft a corner in the early rounds, we were going after McFadden all along. Talk about gearing up as a smack you in the mouth team? Steelers going O line/Defense all draft.

Can't believe Dwyer fell this far in the draft. Steelers jumped on him right away. It's obvious what the Steelers want to do, huge opportunity with Mendenhall and a force like Dwyer in the backfield. Lovin this draft, one of the best in recent years on paper and needs.

All in all, the Pats had a hell of a draft. I would have preferred an immediate impact guy like Bryant and (perhance) a decent back, but they had a spectacular draft - they managed to net the top two TE prospects as well.

I actually like Campbell. The dude couldn't step off with the right foot from the get-go in Washington. That franchise has serious problems (not as bad as Oakland) but as far as the last few years of going through god awful coaches as well as systems and philosophies, Campbell should of struggled moreso, but he actually did a helluva good job at managing a bad Skins team in a tough division. His numbers are exceptionally well. Question is, what's worse... Washington with a now H.O.F coach with old school football mentality, vs. Al Davis's 1970's failure approach? Campbell is a solid trade.

They need to sign Westbrook and kick Moroney's over-rated ass to the curb.

Hernadez was a steal in the 4th - he was considered by many to be the best TE prospect out there.

Wow, that entire Oakland team is as pathetic as they come. Watching that video, over HALF of that entire reel is NOT even Russell's fault. He hits his back foot and defenders are seriously in his grill ready to eat him ALIVE. Watch that offensive line, atleast 2-3 guys get beat off the ball and don't even TOUCH a defender, not even to slow them down to buy Russell a half extra second.

When Russell DOES have a slight of time, receivers are not even out of their breaks yet because Al Davis loves that system to where his receivers run 30 yard slants with virtually no hot route available if Russell gets into trouble and THAT doesn't matter because his first read is 30 yards down field. He threw some horrific balls, but gets NO help from his receivers. Judging by that video and that video alone, the pathetic wide outs took bad angles and bad routes, and are tripping all over the place.

I'm anxious to see if Russell can excel in a good system that helps out a Quarterback if he is committed to work at his ethic and get in better shape. He def has tools to work with and a good coach can transform him.

Gradkowski has a little of upside, but lets not forget ONE thing. The Steelers defense were victims of long drives in the 4th qrt going up against A.) Matt Cassel B.) Bruce Gradkowski C.) Brady Quinn D.) Jay Cutler (in a horrific year.)

I was sitting in section 116 at the Oakland game, pretty much field level. Yes, Gradkowski did play that way. The Steelers defense played so atrocious that words can't even describe what I witnessed. Gradkowski was LITERALLY throwing ducks up in the air, and on several occasions, near 4-5 Steelers defenders and STILL completing the attempt. During the last drive, hell, he even threw one RIGHT in the gut of a Steelers corner. Rookie couldn't catch a gift and one of the easiest interceptions probably of his pro career ever will hand him. Lewis catches that ball, Steelers make the playoffs.

Gradkowski played with a lot of heart, but he's far from anything GOOD and that's being too generous. The Steelers defense just did not show up to Heinz Field and I counted atleast 4 blown coverages on the field, and I'm a fan who shouldn't be able to point any of that stuff out. Terrible.

PITTSBURGH -- Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes had to be escorted off a plane Thursday night at Pittsburgh International Airport, investigators said.

Channel 11 News reporter Renee Kaminski said the incident happened shortly after 9 p.m. Investigators said Holmes wasn't arrested but was escorted off the plane for what they call being a "disruptive passenger."

The plane was docked at Gate D77 when a "disturbance" involving an iPod and refusal to comply with flight crew demands was reported, investigators said.

Earlier in the night, the following tweet was posted to Homes' Twitter account: "Only guy on the plane headed to Pitt from NJ, wearing my green n white. GO JETS!"

He has one civil suite against him, and that's pretty much a dead fish in water since the only thing that Nevada chick wants is money to end the suite, but Ben never budged and is now countering her claim for false discrimination and emotional damages against him.

This 20 year old girl already closed the case and does NOT want to pursue further, probably because she's a dirty, skanky whore who was underage getting nailed in a bathroom and loving it while inebriated but was pressured by her other fat drunken friends to say something about it when she doesn't really know 100% what happened. Her parents probably are embarrassed by the way their daughter acted as well and said fuck this, you're grounded.

Goodell took the same road to paving a "better NFL", just like he did with Pac-man Jones. Jones was never charged with a crime but was suspended due to the fact of hurting the image and morale of the NFL, as well as suspending Holmes for 4 games within NFL's conduct policy. What better way to stomp your point in the ground to warn others than to suspsend a 2 time, face of a franchise Super Bowl quarterback with 6 games off of allegations of drunken college children?

new orleans saints head coach sean payton is being accused by a former member of the saints staff of stealing vicodin pain pills out of the team lockers,lol. the man is actually suing the team and put this in his lawsuit.


As expected, Saints coach Sean Payton has issued a statement regarding the report that he is one of the two unnamed Saints employees implicated in the abuse and/or theft of Vicodin.

"I have reviewed Geoff Santini's lawsuit and the unwarranted publicity it has received," Payton says in a statement provided to us by the Saints. "I have never abused or stolen vicodin or any other medication and I fully support the Saints' position in this matter as expressed by Greg Bensel yesterday.‬‪"

Local sportstalk dude just said that the Raiders paid that lazy fuck $39 Million and said the talk of the leauge is how lazy he is.

I would bet that he'd be (a) bankrupt and (b) facing criminal charges sometime in the next 5-10 years, but I think the dude's too lazy to even break the law
