Yet, two of the best looking still.

You're not too far off the mark! :) That kind of sustained mainstream success from any 80's era musician takes a magic combination of good looks and McDonald's-quality, corporate-friendly songwriting. Looks can't do it alone or both those guys would be playing bars today and Kip Winger & crew would be selling out the arenas.

Got a point there, Kipster is holding up looks wise just as well as those guys, yet IMO is a better song writer. ??? Mind you I think alot of Bon Jovi's continued success is due to his being extremely business savy and knowing how to make great decisions.

Diabetes is a risk factor SAH's and if I remember my schooling
right can be from an aneurysm, something that also can be
prevalent in diabetics. But that injury he sustained could
definitely be the cause of a slow bleed all this time. If he was hit
in the face hard enough to be knocked on his back like that, my
first thought is how hard and fast his head was jolted back, with
the bleed being at his brain stem.

Anyhow it sucks and hope he can recover.

Was thinking the same thing. :( Was weird watching the Apprentice last night, him and Sharon laughing their heads off having a ball creating rock exercise moves for their fund raising project........knowing he's actually in the hosptial fighting for his life.

Ohhhhhh that reminds me of the absolutely stupidest (an unintentionally funniest) thing I've ever heard a person say EVER in my life.

I may have told this story before... I was a freshman in high school and one day, in religion class, we were being forced to watch Jesus of Nazareth... this girl named Jenny who sat next to me - she was kind of... "off", I guess... but somehow she passed the exam to get into that school, so she couldn't have been that off... she raises her hand and asks the teacher - and yes she was absolutely serious - "was this taped when Jesus was alive?" Silence befell the room and lingered for quite some time.

My smartass gland wasn't fully developed yet or else I probably would have said "Yes, but it was only available in Betamax". I hate when I think of great comebacks 19 years too late!

would have been nice if that thread for exactly who is attending hadn't been all jacked up by non-attenders... I can't remember who all is supposed to coming now, except of course the ones i've communicated with privately about it.

Kim...B is being an ass....I had said that I am still trying to get there...and it's not looking good! I wish it was driving distance...I would then have made it no matter what....So I don't think you will see me....and I am green with envy to all who are making the trip.

I had planned my Arizona trip almost a year and a half ago...and it was expensive (two nights in Sedona was over 450.00 with out dinner or drinks! :D )...So I need to get my ass back to work so I can go somewhere with the family this summer.

Donald Trump tells TMZ Bret Michaels is in "big, big trouble and the prognosis is not great."

Michaels is a contestant on this season's "Celebrity Apprentice" and, ironically, Trump says Michaels' scrappiness is the best thing he has going for him.

As Trump put it, "He turns out to be an amazing competitor and ultimately that is the thing that could save his life."

Trump, who is in touch with people in the hospital where Michaels remains in critical condition, thinks Michaels' fall on stage back in 2009 -- where he hit his head -- may have something to do with the recent turn of events, though we can't confirm this from Michaels' people.

I know someone who had a brain stem bleed, had surgery and she recovered quite well, though it was very touch and go for a while. She never could go back to her normal work in physical therapy because it was too tiring, but she's been doing great for several years now. They think it happened to her when she had been in a car accident months previous, and she didn't know until the symptoms appeared when the bleeding got worse. That can definitely happen, where you can have an injury and not know for a while.

SAH symptoms showing up months later are very common after accidents, even ones that seem minor. I work with an ARNP who worked neuro. and no matter what, the recovery process is not easy by any stretch. He'll have a tough road ahead of him if he can get out of the danger zone he's in now.

LOL- not trying to be a downer or anything, I just know with
that diagnoses, the odds are not in his favor, but I HOPE
that's not the case and hope he can fight and beat this and
recover as best as possible.

LOL, I remember that part. If you want another good read, Rudy's book is good too. Although not as salacious as Crue's The Dirt or Nikki's book. But I just love Sarzo. :) It's mainly about his friendship with Randy Rhodes, his death and what shenanigans went on on the Blizzard of Oz tour.
