That's because he knows how his bread is buttered...these guys need to ride into the sunset in style, with a kick-ass farewell album that proves once and for all they are the pre-eminent American rock band of all time.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

Yes. Yes, it would.

Besides, I think they keep the machine oiled by being a little mysterious.

We all know it's gonna happen...get ready to have your asses kicked!!!!

Eddie can't really let VH go out with VH3, can he?

Eddie didn't let VH go out with VH3, he's leaving it go out with the 3 songs off "The Best Of Both Worlds."

Personally I think VHIII is a solid album. It suffers from piss poor productioin work and some half assed music written by EVH, but IMO Cherone did a very good job with the band and I wish we would've seen a follow up.

Actually KISS has actually changed their setlists around some in the past few years. After Ace and Peter left the band in they've brought back songs like Creatures Of The Night, I Pledge Alligence To The State Of Rock and Roll, Got To Choose, Parasite, All The Way, Unholy, God Gave Rock and Roll To You II, War Machine, Tears Are Falling, Love Her All I Can, Kissin' Time, Love'em and Leave'em, Crazy Crazy Nights, 3 songs from the new album (which are Modern Day Delilah, I'm An Animal, and Say Yeah), All American Man, Shandi, and Forever. Granted some of these songs were only played once or twice, but some of the songs have been staples for either entire tours, or since 04.

As for VHIII, I believe that album was in no way Cherone's failure (listen to the boots, the dude was solid on VH material) it was EVH's lack of ability to write and put out descent music after he had grown accustomed to Sammy doing all the heavy lifting for him for 10 years...

Can't wait for the new Chickenfoot! And I would say Chickenfoot has already put out more material than VH will with Dave this time around...

Damn I loved hearing MA harmonize with Sammy again....felt like 1987 all over again!
