RXP will choose 3 bands to compete throughout the summer to be the next RXP House Band. Each band will have the opportunity to have their own feature page on www.1019rxp.com/cabowabo where they will be able to promote themselves and engage with RXP listeners via video, photos, personal blog, upcoming gig announcements, band website links and talk to fans on their message board. Bands will also be given the opportunity to solicit themselves at RXP events and even play a gig where they will battle it out with their competitors.
Listeners will vote on the winner of the Cabo Wabo Tequila "Your Shot to Rock" and RXP House Band contest and who they want to see live at upcoming RXP shows!
3 Competing bands will be announced on 5/24/2010 in the morning on “The Rock Show” with Matt Pinfield and Leslie Fram.
Bands will compete throughout the summer from 5/24/2010 – 4th of July, 2010
