LOL....I look at it this way: I paid just as much to be at that show as anyone else...If *I* want to hang in front for TWO bands out of TWENTY I feel like I shouldn't get guff for it. I really didn't care, I walked parallel to the front row and assertively made my way to front-center. Those rabid bovines in spandex should get a mother fucking clue....all I'm saying.

If somebody has been standing up front all day to get a front and center spot for the main act, I'd be pissed too if somebody came and elbowed there way in front of me at the last minute (Stockton :twisted:

). LOL, if you want to see ballistic?! Just step in front of Deb at a JSS and/or EM show. :lol:

You just might get an elbow to the teeth and it won't be from me being aggresive, I just like to rock out! :lol:

LOL, the first day I met CrazyDeb was right before the Journey concert in Dallas in '07. She elbowed me to wedge into the front with a big smile and an "Excuse me" and I knew right then I could learn a lot from her.

And I still do. She taught me how to fold t-shirts this weekend -- Winger T's to be specific!

Thank You Andrew! I had a blast over the weekend, it went way too fast! I hope you are able to put another show on someday, I would be perfectly happy if it was held at the Roadhouse again, great place! It was also very nice to meet a lot of you guys as well, it made the event even better. Hope I get a chance to hang out again soon!

This is the premier festival of its type in the U.S. It's un-fucking-paralleled. It comes down to MR Fest and Rocklahomo. I mean, c'mon, what would you rather do ... have all access to 20+ bands in an intimate setting where you can sit down, stand right in front of the stage, step out for a sandwich and/or beer in the next room or order one while you watch the show ... or go to Rocklahomo and sit in a barf and urine soaked field in fucking July when it's 110, walk a city block to grab a beer that's gonna be just as warm as the piss-laden field you're standing in and have virtually zero acces to any bands?

Congrats, Andrew, you put together a fucking whale of a show. I still can't believe I was able to just walk up to Jim Peterik (even though he was dressed like Tommy Chong in Up In Smoke :lol: :shock:

), Jimi Jamison, Kip Winger, Ted Poley or anyone else I wanted to talk to. I chatted with Toby Hitchcock at the hotel, Keith Semple and Jow Vana up in the VIP room and a few other guys as well. They were all so very, very excited to be there and it was amazing to watch them watch the other bands. Just an incredible experience that you can only get at one event ... Melodicrock Fest. In time, this thing will grow legs and become much bigger.
