Let's pretend that it is and get really excited about talking about the possibility!

This is without a doubt, without question, 100% I'm sure of it Steve Perry he is talking about!.........................................................

Nothing said in Kevin's blog rules out that it would be Steve Perry.

The clue better fits Bill Withers who has gotten some publicity lately and talked about making his first record since 1986. He got sick of the music business and quit in the 70s and came back and made the 1986 album only to find the same things bothered him. He now makes his living as a carpenter making custom furniture out of his own workshop.

I would expect Perry to make some sort of announcement about his solo album this month with a possible summer release. It'll re-ignite and ride the DSB train, and when he wraps up a successful solo album run, Journey will release their album late this year and tour next year. And Perry can disappear again.

Not unless he wants to sing the songs a full step down. I bet he could do a killer appearance and sing 2 or 3 songs really well a half step down.

If this tidbit IS about Perry and he does have a plan to finally
release new material, wouldn't it be smart to somehow
tie in the release to the upcoming Glee episode towards
the end of the season that is supposedly dedicated to
Perry or Perry-led Journey material?

Well then, what's up with th expectations? Expect normally means something is imminent, like a woman is pregnant and expecting a baby. It means something is known to be in the hopper. Ye speaketh like ye knoweth.

Listen, asshole, the definition for the word is pretty clear:

to look forward to; regard as likely to happen; anticipate the occurrence or the coming of

I am "looking forward to" the guy releasing a fucking album. Why? Because VH-1 talked about it, Russ Miller (the drummer that played the session) talked about it and Andrew mentioned it. It is known that said recordings exist ... so go suck a fat elephant dick. Just another phony personality. Must be fun.

It can't be Perry because remember just a short month and ahlaf ago he was on the radio interview and he said, "I have music ready to record but i haven't got into the studio yet". So no, its not him. He has not even gotten into the studio to record the music.

Personally I think he is lying about not being in the studio.
