Do you understand that when you do not sleep in total dark / silence you are programming your subconscious mind?
100% proper sleep means stopping all programming.
Sometimes ...if I forget to set the timer!! I like to watch Will and Grace and Frazier...but someone set the Lifetime Channel to SAP and I can't fix it ...do you know how?!?!Thenightbull wrote:Just curious to see if anyone else sleeps with the tv on at night. Also feel free to post any other bad sleeping habits you have.

I use earplugs, a sleepmask and STILL need the little waterfall running in the backround for white noise.

All of my family members including Aunts, Uncles and Cousins do this.
After 19 years Hubby Bub still complains about it.
I must have a fan on when falling asleep, even bring one in the tent when camping.

Yes, they do have a peculiar odor, but I've smelled worse!

and this one has worked the best -
3) Switching my body direction around, meaning if I'm laying with my head to the West and my feet to the East, I switch around and have my head to the East and my feet to the West.
So maybe try some of these techniques if your having a hard time getting to sleep at night. They work for me.
