LG didn't exactly say much, but he did come over to our side of the stage and hold our hands and sing to us, which was most excellent.
The show was really good; it had been pouring rain the whole day, but stopped before show time; the Pavillion was full. We missed half of Kansas due to ridiculously slow will-call lines at the box office, but the part we did get to hear was good. Foreigner really has their act together now with Kelly Hanson; they played two songs off their new album (loved "In Pieces") and the usual hits; the mile long rendition of Juke Box Hero has been cut down to manageable length; they also had a high school choir from Laredo with them on stage for one song as part of their support for VH1's Save the Music effort. Styx has changed up their set a little; they did Suite Madame Blue and, surprisingly, the Damn Yankees' High Enough, with Gowan singing the Jack Blades part; that was a real treat. No Chuck, no Crystal Ball, and no more medley.
