Today is the day ... :D

I apologize for not posting but I've been busy at work. I was going to do a long post and maybe I'll do that next week. But I'll just get to the point and make it brief for now.

Andrew, if you want my advice, I have to recommend (unfortunately) close it down for your and your family's sake. There's nothing left to do. The scene is dead and has been dead for awhile in my opinion. There's nothing left to squeeze out of it. You've tried and have done a commendable job keeping it alive as long you have. But there's nothing left you can do. Realistically, there is no formula that works for you to survive, even thinking out of the box. You could probably downsize and do this part time for the joy and a couple of extra dollars. But, I can't see this being a full time gig (financially) for you to support yourself and your family. Hopefully, we can discuss in more detail next week. I should have some time by mid-week.

Sincerely,

Tito

You may as well have signed that "Phyl" :P

I wish I could've posted in greater detail to explain myself better. Hopefully, next week, I can. I did not have joy in posting that but we got to deal with reality. I don't want my friend Andrew suffering financially. It is sad, but it is reality.

Working with statistics and being in a company that has cut its work force by 65 percent over the last 18 months, I can relate to what it feels like when something that was going so well for awhile all of a sudden hits the skids. In MR's case it hasn't been quite that sudden but the end result is about the same. We have done all the sure fire can't miss schemes at work, put advertising dollars into other projects hoping to create a more attractive product in a last gasp effort to save ourselves but I have no doubts the end is near. Maybe a complete scrapping of everything and then a gradual rebuild to a leaner smaller company or in MR's case a sleeker, slimline website. No matter how you slice it, something has to change.
