I totally loved having you hang out with me for a few songs. I think I bumped you a few times while I was hopping up and down and fist pumping. Sorry about that!

What did you think of Winger?

He is such a nice guy and a great talent. I listen to both On the Rise albums all the time and I highly reccomend everyone checking them out, very infectious hooks throughout. He hopes to get On the Rise in the states to perform, if he does I will be at any show remotely close to the Chicago area. He has a lot of songs to check out on his page.

Now that was one super nice guy. First time I saw him in the hotel lobby I asked if he was Michael Eden! LOL... He came up to me later and introduced himself at Roadhouse, and we talked for a while. I had a hard time understanding at first and didn't catch the name of his band, so thanks for letting me know -- I'll definitely be checking it out. Anyway, I just remember him being so cool I said hello to him every time we passed by that weekend.

Andrew worked what appeared to be 16-18 hour days during the shows and never stopped moving. The incredible part was that he always had a smile on his face and stopped for anyone that wanted to say hi, chat, had a question or wanted a picture. You're an A-1, top-shelf dude, Drew.

Thanks mate. Really. It is a pleasure to see so many people loving the music and hanging out....so of course I had a smile on my face. Utterly buggered though. Worked maybe 20hrs/day for 3 days straight.
But I love what I do and appreciate everyone coming out to share in the fun.

Hey, anything I did at all was only made possible by the unseen hand of Don Dokken pulling strings behind the scenes. Please publicly thank Don Dokken!

Speaking of unseen hands, I was surprised to learn of the absolute omnipresence of none other than MICHAEL EDEN. I wish I could share my favorite Michael Eden moment because it CRACKED me up, but I probably better not. Also, YOU had one of the funniest lines of the weekend, right near the end when we were packing up -- if you remember me LMAO MichiganGirl style, you'll know the one.

Well, good, cuz we certainly didn't have it me to be bored. :) 20 hr days. yup- sleep when you're dead. I said this in a group of teachers yesterday--we are all struggling through the year end school stuff. The athletic director said, If you are tired, the whatever you are doing is working. a great perspective, I thought.

I concur about Michael Eden. Big scary metal guy. not so much. your cover is blown, dude! And he was ever present, just like Mrfest 1.

I had such a blast -- got back and several people asked how it was. I told them "umm.... completely exhilarating, yet completely exhausting" was the best way I could describe it. I planned to get to bed early that last day to catch up on rest, and ended up staying up all night without a wink. I wouldn't trade that time for anything. :)

MRFest II -- sleep and you miss something cool (like Reb Beach, Rob Marcello & Derek St. Holmes having an acoustic jam session in the hotel lobby at 2:30am). Can you imagine having that on tape?

Whew!! I finally am able to get on here, took me awhile.
Anyway, just want to say a big THANK YOU to Andrew, what a fantastic show!!
I have never been to anything like this before, and i have been to a lot of concerts, so many i lost count about 5 yrs ago.
Just being able to meet all the musicians was the ultimate for me. Worth the price of admission.
All the bands were supreme, it is hard to pick one favorite band of the weekend, but if i had to pick one it would be Y&T, as I had never seen them before
and they are one of my all time favorite bands.
But again , ALL the bands were awesome!
I want to give a big shout out to my new friends i met at the concert Michigan Girl and Deb, they were totally cool!
Hopefully Andrew can have another one, as I have been reading the posts on here since the concert, and it looks bleak, would be sad not to have another one.
I will be posting more of my opinion on that one later, if anyone is interested.
Craig
