Andrew, question for you - what are the alternatives to Paypal/credit card payment to make a donation or join MR-X? I know it says to email you, but I figure I'm not the only one who can't/won't pay on-line. (Not suggesting it isn't safe, I just don't have a credit card because I hate being in debt.)
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

I think there's an option missing here. It's not just 'none, it should be free'...but moreso, the general apathy is that 'if it costs then I just won't post'. Just because someone doesn't want to pay, doesn't mean that it should be free. Perhaps it should cost to post, and that's fine.

Maybe there are stages/levels to membership. 1, get access and read all you want. 2, posting privileges - fee #1. 3, misc extras - fee #2. Just a thot.

Also, keep in mind governance. If people pay to use this site, then they'll expect entitlements. And, they'll expect swift justice when they feel wronged. They'll also expect refunds if said justice doesn't swing their way. That could be the admistrative headache.

No he isn't... you're still posting! Seriously, you should check into getting paid by REO to go backstage. You could tell him he looks just like Robert Englund, and that he should have applied for the Nightmare On Elm St remake! :P And...

Oh yeah, and Tommy Shaw takes it in the butt by old Panazzo! SNAP! Lol!!!

You don't have the self control to spend within your means? A credit card doesn't automatically = debt. :?

I actually only use a debit card, but I can't imagine always using cash, that's all.

I would pay the $40 just to be able to access the site!, this is about the only site i read on a daily basis besides ESPN and my email. So it would suck if i couldnt get on here. I think this is a good plan. I hope everyone agrees.

Well, she's not the first person I've heard give that as a reason to not have a CC. If she gets by without a credit card, more power to her. Much lower risk of identity theft and other related headaches. I myself try to use cash or debit card whenever possible, but I think credit cards are very useful.

I had to work that weekend! Army thing dude... We have to get together as a Battalion twice a year, and that weekend just happened to fall on the same weekend. Trust me, I would have MUCH rather have been partying, than taking an Army physical fitness test and sitting though boring meetings all weekend. :?
