No one is using ageism against him as far as him expressing his opinions, but rather him trying to teach us how to deal with nostalgia. For someone who didnt LIVE the 80s and isnt old enough to understand what nostalgia means, he has NO clue what we are talking about. Even if he reads up on it and learn all about the great things of 80s and watches the movies and listens to the music, he did NOT EXPERIENCE it,,, he has no memories connected to every little thing from the 80s.
We all learn from other people, older or younger,,, but I dont think any of us would really wanna learn from from someone ,about something that WE lived and they didnt.
Oh and one more thing. Reel it in as your bait attempt failed![]()

I never told anyone what to do or try to teach anyone. Now, I don't really know what nostalgia is (stupid ass bike accident when I was younger kicked out most of my memory) - but what I said was that it's never too late to do something. Jim could still go out and buy a 80's sports car or go chasing girls or whatever. It's never too late for that - that's what I said (not teach).
Now, for the love of every god out there: give it a rest. And stop talking about my family.

You are quite wrong, grasshopper. I am always very aware that there is a wider audience than one.

Incorrect again, grasshopper, but I appreciate and accept the apology, especially since it's the first one you've ever extended. Thanks.

Grasshopper is not name calling. It is a state of mind and place.

It's not really about a calender age. A state of mind and place....where they are at in their thinking....where they are at in their learning.

And you think he needs to learn from you? You think that he cant know enough because of his age and thinking and that you know more than him? Hmmm sounds like ageism
