I saw a video with RJ and his afro-mohawk and tight black spandex pants being from Baton Rouge, but sounding like he's a Valley boy!!

So what was Madonna voted in for? Her shock value videos or her great contribution to rock music? LOL. "Like a Virgin." Don't get me wrong, I love, love, love Madonna and own much of her POP music, but that was a slap in the face to great bands that have been overlooked for the RRHOF.

If I would have remembered to buy some hair gel at the 99¢ Store the other day, you would have been spot on (minus the spandex, of course)

Perhaps some of the race-baiters here can try a racism angle on the hall....maybe suggesting that the RRHOF powers-that-be at the hall are anti-filipino or some equally incendiary accusation, designed to cast shame on the hall and it's decision makers. Then, you've got the moral upper hand. Couple that with all of the other story angles already played by Journey, Assoff and others.....Journey is a fucking shoe-in!
Seriously...you can't lose!

Dude, can you imagine how many emails they have gotten in halting English asking for Journey's induction? And with a reasoning that Arnel helped the band go Platinum with Revelation, as if that is all that is needed to qualify. No mention of any other band members, only Pineda. I guarantee they've got hundreds of these requests.

This is all bullshit, Frank. Perhaps if you meet some of Arnel's fans you'll see that you're only accusing "screen names" of being "race baiters" and really haven't a leg to stand on. I have met hundreds of actual people (Pinoys), discussed Journey and Arnel at length, and can tell you that your assertions are way off base and without merit. Also, if I remember correctly, the Time Magazine article (I think it was Time) mentioned a certain ex-poster here as receiving death threats. It may be one person behind all, or probably the vast majority, of said "race baiting.

She probably blew a couple of the members of the voting board. So does online petition signing get them on the ballot?
If they were ever got get in, who goes in? I can't see AP getting in with that short tenure, among other things.

AP has NOTHING to do with Journey if they ever get in. Let's get that straight right now. He may be a good voice but, he is as "insignificant" as a pimple on HH's butt to the historical success of the band.
There is only ONE singer of significance when talking Journey.

Why would it be a big deal to him?
Many artists get in twice from having success with other bands/projects, or having solo careers after their band days.

Because he sits at home in his velvet robe with the little golden "P" stitched over one side, stroking his cat, waiting in anticipation for this very moment?
