Gotta begrudgingly give mad props to the Celtics and the Boston organization this year. You know that stupid quote about the devil that every one always rips, "The greatest trick the devil ever played on us was convincing us he didn't exist"? or whatever?

Well, I'd say the greatest trick the Cs ever played on all of us, fans, pundits, "experts," and even other players is convincing us that they were washed up and unthreatening.

As much as I hate the city of Boston and Boston sports, I'd much rather see a team that plays hard-nosed, old-school basketball win than the Magic, some prissy ass 3-point jacking team that plays like a college team who also happen to be coached by Ron Jeremey's doppleganger

Before game one against the C's, Orlando was 35-3 in their last 38 games....27-3 to finish out the regular season. 8-0 in playoffs.

just because their home is also that of Disney world and they have a name like the Magic does not make them prissy

and just because they are a newer team doesn't mean they should be discounted. They had an awesome season and they swept the playoffs until now.....and a as a Cleveland fan I think you should pretty much just shut the critique off now :lol:

No, those two things don't make them prissy (Btw, Disney World rocks... no hate there from me), but their shitty style of soft basketball certainly does. Dwight Howard has no game at all. Not that I really have much to write home about the Cavs at this point, but if you wanna make comparisons, they had a better regular season than the Magic, and even after their ridiculous disappearing act against the Celtics, they still gave them more of a battle than the Magic's pathetic effort thus far
