His band, The Storys, play their last ever show on 19th June. There is no justice.

Love this performance by Steve Balsamo. Thanks Duncan

I recently purchased the DVD Poe: More Tales of Mystery and Imagination written and produced by Eric Woolfson. The link to this performance is not from the DVD. Steve was one of Eric's favorite singers. It's too bad the Storys are breaking up, but there are planning to release a final album titled Luck on June 7th. Steve is also still performing with Jon Lord and has recently co-written some songs for Jon's new CD as well as recording some of new material for a solo album including a couple more Eric Woolfson songs. I hope it will be released soon.

I've also read that Eric's widow is trying to get Poe produced in England & the US as a full scale theatrical production. That would be great, I wish her success. Eric was a great composer and it would be wonderful if more people were exposed to his work outside of the Alan Parsons Project.

Today I came upon this tune by the Storys. Great song. Love Steve Balsamo's voice! Too bad Steve couldn't sing at their farewell performance. Vocal problems...bummer.
