iPod "hard reset"?...

I just inherited my son's Blackberry 9700 today. It's got Bust-A-Move on it so it's all good.

Does it still have BrickBreaker? That one can be fun, or mine came with Word Mole too, I've tried making cuss words in that one but they won't work

He might have nuked that. I see Cannon Fodder, Sonic The Hedgehog and Final Fantasy, ahhh.. I found it. Word Mole.

Yeah, apparently iPhones get all wiggly if their fronts are touched in one spot for too long

LOL. That's how you arrange or remove icons on your home screen, hold on an icon til they wiggle.

Anyone here have to do this with your iPod before? Mine died today with plenty of charge still on it and it wouldn't work at all. One of my co-workers said this happened to them also and told me to hold the menu button and center button down at the same time for a few seconds and that will "hard reset" it. It worked! But now I'm wondering how often that's supposed to happen, and does it mean something else might be wrong with it? Or is that just something it has to do every now and then? lol

I thought a "hard reset" was another term for taking a cold shower.



Seriously, the same thing's happened to both my old and new iPhones (only once each), and it freaked me out with my new one because it also had plenty of charge -- then it seemed completely dead. I got lucky the first time and figured out the hard reset method without instructions, because there were only so many things you could do with 2 buttons. Works like a charm!
